An american girl in paris (part deux) - S6-E20

Trivia: Carrie is carrying a small bunch of violets in this Parisian montage. What is interesting is that in France, traditionally, violets are the flowers that the husband gives his wife when he has disappointed her, or they have had a fight. Symbolically, the violets that Carrie bought for herself represent that she is continually disappointed by Aleksandr. (00:10:25)

Let there be light - S6-E13

Trivia: During the scenes in the department store, they were filming at the real Barneys. Also, the blindfold that Charlotte is wearing is from Burberry. Splat! - S6-E18

Trivia: When Carrie is typing on her computer, she changes the question mark to a period. The moment she does this, there is no more computer typing shown in the entire series, until the very last moment in the final montage. This was done to signify that Carrie had stopped questioning her life. (00:10:10)

To market, to market - S6-E1

Trivia: Concerning the entire Wall Street/Stock Market scenes; Sex and the city was the very first production to film in the New York Stock Exchange since the movie Wall Street. They filmed these scenes at the actual NYSE. Because it was after 9-11, every piece of camera equipment, prop, costume, etc. had to be sniffed by bomb-sniffing dogs. This was the very first non-official event that was let into the Stock Market after 9-11. Every extra that you can see on the Stock Market floor was an actual trader. Also, Sex and the city got to open the real Stock Market, on the day the show premiered.

Great sexpectations - S6-E2

Trivia: According to the commentary, the show was always careful not to locate the day and year on screen. But in this scene, when Miranda's Tivo has broken, it was necessary to use the real date. The date shown on the Tivo screen was actually the date the show first aired (right around that week). (00:15:45)

Trivia: When Jeremy comes to visit Carrie at her apartment, he is wearing a white polo style Lacoste Izod shirt. There is a noticeable rip or small hole in the upper shoulder of the shirt, visible on screen. This was intentional by the wardrobe department. They wanted to show that despite Jeremy being an older, Ivy League kind of guy, he came back still dressed similar to how Carrie would have seen him in high school. (00:19:00)

To market, to market - S6-E1

Trivia: This traffic jam scene was filmed in the 23rd and 5th avenue area of NYC. The City allowed the show to have the entire city block/area roped off, in order to create a realistic traffic jam. While they were filming this scene, Sex and the city 'owned' the whole block. (00:01:40)

To market, to market - S6-E1

Trivia: During the scene where Carrie is having her 'simu-date', a bird lands on the head of her date. There was actually a 'bridge' built out of bobby pins on the actor's head, to create a landing platform for the bird. (00:18:00)

To market, to market - S6-E1

Plot hole: In this episode Carrie runs into Aidan, who now has what looks to be about a 6 month old baby (Tate). This doesn't seem possible, as Carrie and Aidan would have only broken up about a year ago, and Miranda was around 6 months pregnant when they broke up. Brady is only about 5 months old at this point in the series, leaving Aidan only roughly 8 months to have this baby - but Aidan lay in bed for about a month and then dated Nina Katz for awhile. Timeline just doesn't seem to fit.
