Revealing mistake: When Carrie is watching TV in her apartment, she uses the remote to click off the TV after SNL is over. There is a close-up of the TV screen, reflecting the room in front of it. You can see a round table with a lot of stuff on it, the windows/curtains and desk, and what appears to be a square ottoman of some kind. But Carrie is nowhere in sight, there is just a blank wall reflected where her image should have been. She is directly facing her TV, as shown from the angle of her perspective as she clicks it off. We should be able to see her somewhere within the television reflection, but she isn't there. (00:20:10)
Continuity mistake: When Carrie and Steve are sitting on his front steps discussing Aiden, Carrie is looking forward as Steve says "He lost his ability to open up and trust women." At that moment; Carrie turns her face towards Steve to her left, and keeps it there as she is appalled. But the very next shot; Carrie is suddenly facing forward again, and then starts turning her head left towards Steve for a second time. But in the next shot; she is already facing Steve, from the first time she reacted to what he said. It's clear that she had never actually moved her head after the first time. (00:25:30)
Continuity mistake: At the market, Stanford's hands are crossed by his tummy, but a shot later they're crossed behind his back. (00:25:46)
Continuity mistake: Bunny grabs the telegram from the lower part. A shot later she is grabbing it from the side.
Continuity mistake: When Sam wants to return the neck massager, it has cables tangled all around or not, depending on the shot.
Continuity mistake: When Miranda's neighbour is scolding her, the neighbour's head is tilted sideways. Then she straightens it up but from the opposite angle it remains tilted for several seconds.
Continuity mistake: When Charlotte is signing her divorce papers, there is a close-up of Harry's face leaning over her. It's covered with large drops of sweat, some of which drip onto the paper. But in the next shot of Harry when he is standing up, he isn't nearly as sweaty. Most of the perspiration on his face seems to have disappeared. (00:07:00)
Continuity mistake: In the train, Carrie says she needs a drink and takes her arms towards her head. From a different angle her arms are lowered and she is raising them again. (00:09:21)
Revealing mistake: After Carrie leaves the hotel bathroom, Samantha is getting out of the tub. In the mirror behind her, you can see that Kim Cattrall (Samantha) is wearing some sort of dark pink undergarment below her waist to hide herself. (00:19:35)
Continuity mistake: Carrie asks Big what he thought abut the book while he lowers his glass. A shot later his glass is raised and he is lowering it again. (00:21:14)
Audio problem: When Samantha and Carrie are in their room on the train, Samantha starts to pour herself a glass of champagne. We hear it pouring for a few seconds until it sounds like the glass is full but when she puts the bottle down, there's barely anything in her glass.
Continuity mistake: Carrie kisses Big and caresses his right cheek. A shot later her hand is nowhere to be seen.
Continuity mistake: After Mr. Big swallows the gum he puts his left hand on his chest. A shot later it disappears.
Continuity mistake: After Harry grabs the tissue paper, The one sticking out of the box changes shape between shots.
Revealing mistake: While Carrie and Sam are in the bar car, the train bumps and the passengers swerve to the left.Problem is, they do not move in sync, revealing the camera trick. The first one to move is the girl in front, and a second later the woman on the left moves.
