Buffy The Vampire Slayer

The Body - S5-E16

Trivia: In season 5 'The Body', the one where Joyce dies, there is no music throughout the entire episode. This episode is also the first time we see Willow and Tara kiss, Joss decided that the kiss should happen very matter of factly, without a big dramatic lead up to it.

The Replacement - S5-E3

Trivia: The actor who plays Nicholas Brendan's evil twin in "The Replacement" is actually his real life twin, Kelly Donovan. Both the brothers use their middle names when working rather than their real surname, Schultz.

The Replacement - S5-E3

Trivia: In the episode 'The Replacement' Buffy asks what they're going to do with the 2 Xanders who then say 'Kill us both Spock'. This is a reference to an episode of Star Trek where Kirk ended up with an evil twin and Spock didn't know which one to kill, the real Kirk told Spock to kill them both so Spock killed the other one.

Kara

Real Me - S5-E2

Trivia: In the second episode of season 5, one of Harmony's minions is played by Tom Lenk who later plays 'the other one' (Andrew) in seasons 6 and 7.

The Replacement - S5-E3

Trivia: In the episode 'The Replacement' when Xander is trying to convince Willow that he is the real Xander, he does the Snoopy dance for her. Nicholas Brendon didn't know what the snoopy dance looked like and just attempted it after a brief description. He is now frequently asked to perform it at any fan conventions he attends.

Kara

Halloween - S2-E6

Continuity mistake: Willow is turned into a ghost. Throughout the entire episode, she can't touch anything (can't turn the pages of a book, etc.), yet towards the end when she and Giles go to Ethan's shop, and she leaves, you can hear that she opened and closed the door, even though she can walk through walls and can't actually touch the door. The curtain moves when she leaves too. (00:34:05)

School Hard - S2-E3

Vampire: And when I kill her, it will be the greatest event since the crucifixion. And I should know, I was there.
Spike: You were there?! If every vampire who said he was actually at the crucifixion really was there, it would've been like Woodstock!

More quotes from Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Chosen answer: "So goes the nation" seems to have been used on many occasions, with various different US states in the "As .... goes" section. Most commonly it seems to be California that's considered to lead the way, but probably most other states have appeared in the lead role at some point or another. Other things have also been used - no less a person that Pope John Paul II said "As the family goes, so goes the nation...". The origin of the quote format is unclear - in US politics it goes back into the 19th century, when it was Maine that held the title spot, but, while no definitive origin is known, it seems highly likely that it goes back considerably further than that.
