Trivia: Prior to this series going into production, HBO greenlit a series called "Bloodmoon." It was set in the Age of Heroes, around 5,000 years before the events of Game of Thrones, and starred Naomi Watts in the lead role. The project was shelved after the pilot was shot.
Trivia: This episode marks the first onscreen appearance of Storm's End, the seat of House Baratheon. It was regularly mentioned in Game of Thrones, but never seen.
