Continuity mistake: Dio challenges some hoodlum at the game that men of dubious virtue would play in the London slums at the turn of the century; chess. He reaches over to grab the coins the guy tossed at him, but when the sore loser smashes his face in the grub, the dish is suddenly directly in front of him and the chessboard disappeared. (00:03:10)

Trivia: Dio in this episode drinks Cronenberg Whisky, just like in the manga. The fictional brand is most likely a homage to the director David Cronenberg, especially given the bit of 'body horror' appearing in this arc.
