Chucky Actually - S2-E8

Continuity mistake: When GG says "You'll wrinkle my dress!", you can hear Tiffany clapping, but can't see her hands. It then cuts to another shot, and suddenly her hands are up and clapping. You should have been able to see them in the previous shot given the angle.

Chucky Actually - S2-E8

Other mistake: When the cop puts his cup of coffee down and says "Jen, put it down!", the series of shots is very wonky. He suddenly gets much lower between cuts, gets into an unrealistic position for the stunt to have the vase smashed over his head. Finally, when he lands, there's a bunch of glass perfectly still on the floor, which was obviously already placed there, in addition to a few pieces that are dropped from above.

Chucky Actually - S2-E8

Visible crew/equipment: When Glenda electrocutes the security guard and his face bursts into flames, you can see where a flammable substance has been smeared on the prop head. It's sort-of whiteish, and the flames immediately ignite on it.

Chucky Actually - S2-E8

Other mistake: When Michelle is making a video about her nativity set-up, we get a split screen of her recording and the phone's POV, but the way Michelle is moving her phone doesn't match the movement in the phone POV in the slightest.

Chucky Actually - S2-E8

Continuity mistake: When Tiffany is sneaking into the hospital, after she bumps into the cop, you can see an old man in a chair behind her start to stand up. It then cuts to a wide shot and he repeats the exact same movements.

Chucky Actually - S2-E8

Continuity mistake: When Michelle is making a video about her nativity set-up, in the first shot, Caroline isn't there, but in the next shot, she's practically right next to her. She should have been visible in the previous shot.

Chucky Actually - S2-E8

Continuity mistake: When Glenda is talking to Tiffany on the phone at the hospital, when they say they need to get Tiffany in there somehow, the way their fingers are wrapped around their phone changes slightly between cuts. Noticeably, their pinky is suddenly about 2" higher. Then, in the next shot, they're back where they originally were.

Chucky Actually - S2-E8

Continuity mistake: When Lexy and Jake go to Lexy's house at the beginning, Lexy takes off her jacket. When she reveals Devon is there, too, and her mother freaks out, suddenly she's wearing her jacket again between cuts. She is then wearing or not wearing the jacket between cuts for the next series of shots.

Chucky Actually - S2-E8

Continuity mistake: When Lexy and Jake go to Lexy's house at the beginning, when Lexy sarcastically says "Thanks Michelle," she's suddenly standing several feet in front of Jake. But in every shot before and after, they're standing next to each other.

Chucky Actually - S2-E8

Continuity mistake: During the group therapy session right after the credits, when Lexy mentions the "layers and layers of secrets", the girl next to her goes from looking forward, to looking sideways at her between cuts.

Chucky Actually - S2-E8

Revealing mistake: After the credits, we see a wideshot of a snowy Hackensack, but the snow is just a digital overlay, since it only seems to be falling directly in front of camera and nowhere else in the shot.

Goin' to the Chapel - S2-E7

Trivia: SPOILERS: In season two, episode seven, when Father Bryce explodes and it is shown over and over from a multitude of angles, it is a direct homage to the 1978 film "The Fury." At the end of that film, a character explodes in a similar fashion, being shown over and over again from different angles. Series creator Don Mancini has discussed how much he enjoys "The Fury" in the past, and has thrown in some subtle references to it in the "Chucky" franchise.

Answer: They were blamed for the death of Jake's foster brother, which was deemed a terrible accident, and they were sent to the reform school as a punishment. Presumably, when they had to leave the reform school given what happened, they were instead given community service as punishment.
