Continuity mistake: Tsubasa moves up the ditch with a diagonal strafing. He then answers Sanae's questions but suddenly on that same ditch, by his feet, Roberto Hongo is resting, sleeping. If he were sleeping on the other side of the road (as it seems when he gets up later) then the feet of the characters in that first shot were facing the wrong way. (00:08:50)
Continuity mistake: During Roberto's team talk, the keeper is wearing an ordinary jersey at first, then the proper red one. (00:01:50)
The Football Is My Best Friend - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: Roberto instructs the players to take their football everywhere. Ryo is the first to do so, but the soccer balls are in different positions from the beginning of the scene when he started the speech, even if Roberto hasn't moved. (00:02:20 - 00:03:20)
Continuity mistake: In the flashback, Tsubasa's father all of a sudden between cuts has his hand on top of the head before realizing that the kid is missing. (00:10:15)
Continuity mistake: Tsubasa dribbles 9 to 11 players in his first sprint, never stops advancing when tackled (he jumps over the offenders), dribbles 5 more, but in front of the penalty area there are at least 8 new guys ready for him. (00:07:05)
Continuity mistake: Tsubasa is athletic and quick and goes straight towards the goal starting from the kick-off spot at midfield, but a couple of opponents he dribbled try to tackle him again, and are incoherently shown as tackling from the front even if they came from behind. (00:07:00)
Continuity mistake: In his first dribble, Tsubasa goes past 3 opponents, but there's just one behind him in the next shot. (00:06:50)
The Brothers Tachibana - S1-E22
Continuity mistake: Just in front of the penalty area, Misaki dispossesses the Tachibanas thanks to Teppei Kisugi's distraction. Tsubasa then does a long pass to midfield for a trio of players...including Kisugi. (00:14:00)
The Brothers Tachibana - S1-E22
Continuity mistake: The players are celebrating their victory. Urabe and Ishizaki in the middle are celebrating, but Urabe has Taki's teeth in the first shot, and in the second there are two Misakis and a Teppei Kisugi behind them - he should be in front of them. (00:01:40)
Continuity mistake: When Sanae and the other 2 cheerleaders are hitch-hiking, in the first wide shot her hair looks much different from her normal haircut. (00:01:35)
Continuity mistake: Morisaki makes the interception before Meiwa's number 8. In the reaction shot with the coach and Ishizaki, all of a sudden behind them it's full of people with a rather conspicuous tan who were nowhere to be seen a moment before. (00:15:05)
The Verification Test - S1-E16
Continuity mistake: Tsubasa in the first part of training scores easily a goal against Morisaki. Ryo scolds him; At that moment, Morisaki's jersey is of a Genzo-like orange. (00:12:50)
Continuity mistake: The goalkeeper incites the rest of the team in their dastardly plan. He's facing right. Camera pans across the Shimizu team and their murderous faces, and the one to the far right, looking to the left, is the same keeper. (00:10:40)
Continuity mistake: End of the first half. Ryo hands a yellow towel to his right and a blue towel to his left. They are swapped around in the reverse shot, and Shingo Takasugi is standing with them too. (00:07:25)
The Brothers Tachibana - S1-E22
Continuity mistake: When the twins score their second goal, the keeper's pants briefly turn green (in the 'POV' shot of the foot connecting with the ball). (00:07:15)
Continuity mistake: After Morisaki's clearance, Roberto Hongo loses his beard. (00:08:55)
Continuity mistake: Takeshi Sawada dribbles 9 players, he has 1 left in front of him, but still he is facing Misaki too, and dribbles twice the same players (Urabe and Taki). (00:11:40)
The Youth National Championship - S1-E17
Continuity mistake: Urabe and Ishizaki have their little banter about the final. Next shot, and they can be seen in the wider shot just eating like nothing happened. (00:11:00)
Continuity mistake: When the coach of the new Nankatsu team approaches the teacher, she picks the sheet with the players list and her left arm is not shown. In the wider angle the arm is right at the bottom of the sheet. (00:05:10)
Continuity mistake: Sanae is crying and wiping her tears when Tsubasa thanks her, she is happy smiling and clinging to the railing in the background when Roberto compliments Tsubasa, and again crying and wiping in the next shot. (00:21:45)
