The Mighty Shot - S1-E19

Other mistake: Behind Ishizaki on the bench as he incites Tsubasa in the last action of the episode, Manabu's legs and feet do not link correctly (something went wrong in the drawing, he's sockless all of a sudden and the ankles are much wider than the feet). (00:19:25)

Revealing mistake: Taki dispossesses an adversary, and promptly two more run towards him. The animation skips during their run, with the advertising banners changing color between two frames. (00:06:25)

Continuity mistake: Nankatsu loses the ball after the 1-2 kick-off. Urabe is quick to chase the ball. He looks at his opponents to his left, but then in the next shot he's looking at them...to his right. (00:13:15)

The Mighty Shot - S1-E19

Continuity mistake: Once Hyuga intercepts the ball, he has a stand-off with Tsubasa, who vows that he will not lose. During that shot, Tsubasa is missing the captain insignia. The band comes back right away at the cut. (00:09:40)

Continuity mistake: The referee hands Kisugi the ball for the free kick. Notice his white socks. As the camera pans out to show the tactical disposition for the free kick, the ref is sporting black socks. (00:09:15)

The Mighty Shot - S1-E19

Continuity mistake: Roberto realises Hyuga's fright technique; as he does that, the person between himself and Mrs. Oozora is wearing a white shirt. Reaction shot on her, and it's a man in yellow that was in a different position earlier. (00:11:20)

The Mighty Shot - S1-E19

Character mistake: Rare instance in this anime, a foul is given when four players from Meiwa tackle Tsubasa at once and hook his foot when he successfully evaded them. In truth though, any referee should have blown the whistle already way before, since the four ganged on Tsubasa throwing themselves at him multiple times before that one, each time sticking their leg out without even aiming at the ball - Tsubasa has to literally duck to avoid one of those tackles.

Kick-Off for the Future - S1-E3

Trivia: International versions change Roberto's message to his coach at San Paulo FC, adding for some reason that he met a girl he fell in love with. This girl is never referenced nor appears, since, well, she does not exist? Roberto mentions that he met Tsubasa instead, who he wants to bring to greatness. (00:12:40)
