Continuity mistake: The nightwatcher worm comes up out of the sand right next to BB-8's trail through the sand. After Rey identifies it and the creature is about to duck down under the sand, the trail BB-8 left behind has vanished. (00:00:45)

Just before he turns around the orange rectangles on the left side of his face to being almost all uniform in shape and size, to now having two big ones on the ends and two small ones in the middle.
