BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: When Rey is about to dodge the blast from the second raider that attacks her, the position of BB-8 on the bike changes. Mostly, he is up higher on the side of the bike, and the net moves also. (00:00:47)

Continuity mistake: When Rey's speeder is first shown, there is a hole/dent in the front, and the front grille has 11 slats. Then when a raider attacks Rey from behind, a shot shows the dent has changed shape, and now the grille has 9 slats. (00:00:44)

Other mistake: A raider attacks Rey at her speeder bike, and she sweeps his legs with her staff to trip him. If you look closely, the staff actually phases through his leg in a few frames, passing through it before it can even lift out of the way. (00:00:43)

Continuity mistake: When Rey jumps on her bike after the second raider pulls a blaster on her, the panel covering on the top of her bike becomes smaller, and a few other details also change, like where the net is fastened and some lines. (00:00:48)

Continuity mistake: When Rey spots Teedo, she's looking over the side of her speeder bike towards him, with the bike facing 90 degrees to the left of where he would be. Then, when the other thugs attack Rey, she jumps on her bike and takes off, moving forward without turning her bike at all, and suddenly she's driving it straight at Teedo, despite it facing 90 degrees to the left moments in the previous shot. Continuity mistake: After Rey spots Teedo on the dune, their side of her speeder is shown again. The paint peeling and dirt on the back fin of her bike changes between shots. Going from looking like a two-peaked mountain to a whole mountain range, the speck of paint on the left side grows bigger and changes shape, and a new speck of paint appears on the right side. Continuity mistake: After Rey lowers her binoculars back down, the camera cuts to an angle from behind her showing the speeder bike. Details on it have changed from a few shots earlier, with the panel on the top of it becoming much larger and the net holding BB-8 to the speeder now fastened onto that panel instead of next to it. Another line in the metal appears below the windshield, and the other part of the net fastening BB-8 to the side moves. Also, each part holding the net shrinks. (00:00:38)

Continuity mistake: After Rey spots Teedo, she lowers her binoculars and glances at BB-8. The shot changes and suddenly Rey is much further away from BB-8, going from a few inches to over an arm's length apart. (00:00:37)

Continuity mistake: Rey pulls out her binoculars and spots Teedo. Between shots of her seeing him and then it cutting back, she and BB-8 have moved closer together. Their heads are also not lined up with the lines on the bike in the same way, with BB-8's head overlapping the line on the bike to being fully beside it now, and Rey's hand goes from being next to the edge of the metal where the windshield is to in front of it. BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: BB-8 is shown strapped to the side of Rey's speeder bike, and about halfway down on the side of it. There's at least a good foot or two of clearance between the top of his head and where the top of the bike is. Yet in the shot where Rey is peering over the bike at Teedo, suddenly BB-8's head is also sticking up over the bike. (00:00:30)

BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: Rey is shown strapping BB-8 to the side of her speeder bike in a sort of net thing that is fashioned to the side. When it cuts to a close-up, a lot of things suddenly shift to the left, including Rey; the connection of the net at the top right moves further forward on the bike, and BB-8 moves further to the separation line on the bike between two metal panels. Continuity mistake: When Rey looks over her bike and spots Teedo, he is standing on top of a large sand dune with a smaller mound of sand close by on the left of the screen. A few shots later, after Rey is attacked by other scavengers, she rides off in Teedo's direction, and now suddenly that smaller mound of sand has moved much further away from him. (00:00:51)

Continuity mistake: The windshield on Rey's speeder is partly broken with a shatter in it or a piece missing. When she's peering over her speeder after spotting Teedo, the glass is perfectly intact. (00:00:29)

BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: At the end of episode 1, Rey and BB-8 escaped the Nightwatcher sand worm by getting on top of a downed AT-AT Walker. This same walker is shown at the beginning of episode 2 still lying in the same position. Only now its leg is a different shape, being far more rounded, and also bowed more like it's bent. More sections and joints. In the previous episode it was more flat and blocky. As well as proportions of parts of it changing size between episodes. (00:00:16)

BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: This episode picks up apparently the next day after episode 1, Sands of Jakku. Rey and BB-8 had escaped onto the top of a downed AT-AT Walker last time, which is now seen again at the start of this episode. Several things about it have changed between episodes, but notably the forward-facing laser cannons on the head of the Walker have moved position, are shaped very differently, and have fewer pieces. Also, the Walker's "neck" has disappeared. (00:00:16)

BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: At the start of the episode, Rey is shown standing next to her speeder bike while next to the AT-AT walker. The shadow of her speeder bike doesn't quite match up to it correctly, looking like it intersects where it should be off at an angle. It is positioned correctly in the next shot as a close-up. Also in the close-up, the glass windscreen-like structure on top of it suddenly appears. (00:00:16)

Sands of Jakku - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: After they are safe, Rey uses her finger to wipe off a little of the blue slime from BB-8's eye. When she does, there is a lot of blue slime visible on her fingertip. Yet a moment later, when BB-8 shakes off the rest of the slime and she shields her face from it, her finger is now clean. She did not wipe it off, and yet the slime has vanished. (00:02:34)

Sands of Jakku - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: Rey throws her staff at the sand worm's location to free BB-8. When she does, her robe has a large loop of cloth hanging down behind her leg. Then, in the next shot after she throws the staff, suddenly that extra cloth loop is missing. (00:01:47)
