Factual error: As Gently drives to the holiday camp at speed, he nearly collides with an MG 1100. Although the MG 1100 was introduced in 1962, this particular one is a two-door model, which wasn't added to the range until 1967, three years after this episode is set.

Character mistake: The registration number of Alan Salt's car is HUA222B, but when Rachel is on the phone asking an officer to look up the car's registered owner she gives the registration number as B222HUA.
