Corrected entry: When Hiccup draws Toothless in the glen for the first time, he smudges the left tail section, indicating his understanding of the problem of why Toothless can't fly. When we next see the drawing, at dinner that night, the left tail section is clear and unsmudged. (And later in the film, it's smudged again.) Even if the filmmakers "fixed" this error while still in theaters, the DVD version I have shows the original errors - smudge/no smudge/smudge.

MovieFan612

Correction: I have the DVD of the movie. And at the dinner table when Hiccup places the drawing on the dragon manual, the smudge is shown there.

The Karate Kid (2010)

Corrected entry: When Dre and Mei Ying are behind stage at the shadow theatre and make a "pinky swear", they first join their right pinkies, but when they release their hands, they release their left hands.

MovieFan612

Correction: I watched this scene several times and Dre and Mei Ying start off making a pinky swear with their right hands and when they let go it is still their right hands.

Shrek 2 (2004)

Corrected entry: The dove that crashes into the castle during Fiona's homecoming entrance disappears after the King steps over him and descends the stairs. The bird should be visible during several subsequent shots and none of the King's attendants would have removed it - everyone is still immobile with the shock of seeing the ogres and no one except the leads have moved.

MovieFan612

Correction: The angle of the camera changes so that the dove cannot be seen.

Corrected entry: When Hiccup draws Toothless in the glen for the first time, he smudges the left tail section, indicating his understanding of the problem of why Toothless can't fly. When we next see the drawing, at dinner that night, the left tail section is clear and unsmudged. (And later in the film, it's smudged again.).

MovieFan612

Correction: This has been fixed. The tail IS smudged at the dinner scene.Apparently it was fixed whilst still in theaters.

Shrek 2 (2004)

Corrected entry: When the trio first enters Far Far Away, we see a "Farbucks" on one corner of the main street. When Mongo and Shrek tear through town toward the end of the movie, The "Farbucks" is now in the center of the block (and the townspeople run from one to the other, across the street, again, in the middle of the block).

MovieFan612

Correction: There are obviously a number of "Farbucks" locations around the city.

Toy Story 3 (2010)

Corrected entry: When Woody escapes Sunnyside and climbs onto the roof, we are shown a shot of the entire rooftop, and no kite is to be seen anywhere on the roof, yet moments later, it's conveniently there when Woody's hat blows off (and then provides his escape over the walls).

MovieFan612

Correction: We are actually shown a shot of one side of the rooftop, not the entire thing. The kite could easily have been on the other side that we isn't shown.

Toy Story 3 (2010)

Corrected entry: When the "caterpillar room" children go outside for recess, the clock shows 3:00; when they return to the room for Andy's toys' first playtime, the clock shows 1:00.

MovieFan612

Correction: The clock actually shows 12:15 when they go outside for recess, meaning they were given 45 minutes when they come back in at 1:00.

Toy Story 3 (2010)

Correction: Andy could easily have painted over the burn mark or had his mum do it. Woody is his favourite toy, so he would undoubtedly not want a burn mark on him. The same goes for his arm from Toy Story 2.

Doubt (2008)

Corrected entry: When Sister Aloysious returns from speaking with Mrs. Miller and Father Flynn enters her office behind her, the Sister moves to the window to close it against the rain and wind and she reaches to lower the shade as well. We hear the sound of the shade lowering, but the shade does not move at all.

MovieFan612

Correction: The sound is of Sister Aloysious pulling the cord to change the direction of the slats, not to lower the shade.

Up (2009)

Corrected entry: Carl uses the leaf blower to dust off his mailbox, he puts it down against the fence (as we see when he's using the bullhorn to talk to the "company man"), then he goes inside and watches TV until Russell knocks on his door. The leaf blower is gone.

MovieFan612

Correction: The scene where he watches TV is later in the day, therefore he could have easily gone back outside to get it.

Up (2009)

Corrected entry: The tree at the top of the hill that we see twice in the Fredricksons' lifetime montage does not change size or shape, despite the passage of at least four decades. By the time Ellie is old and collapses on her way up the hill, the tree should have grown significantly but it looks the same then as it did at the beginning of their life together.

MovieFan612

Correction: We never see the full tree, so can make little determination as to how it may or may not have changed over time. You also assume the tree hasn't reached its maximum size or that the lower branches hadn't been pruned to maintain its shape.

JC Fernandez

Corrected entry: Harry and Dumbledore apparate from the tube (train station) at few minutes after 11 p.m. (as evidenced by the date that Harry made with the waitress for when her shift ends at 11). However, they apparate to the town where Prof. Slughorn is hiding and the grandfather clocks reads approximately 10:26 p.m.

MovieFan612

Correction: The grandfather clock is simply wrong, and there are actually at least two reasons that can be: One, Slughorn has faked an assault by the death eaters on the house, and in the process of creating that chaos, the clock might have been harmed. Or two, and even simpler, Slughorn states the owners of the house are away on holiday, so the clock has stopped, because it wasn't wound up regularly.

Up (2009)

Corrected entry: When Carl and Russell first arrive on the plateau they both fall out of the house and barely save it from the edge of the cliff. When they make the decision to walk the house over to Paradise Falls, suddenly Carl has his walker, with no way to have gotten into the house, suspended dozens of feet in the air, to retrieve it.

MovieFan612

Correction: Carl is holding his walker when he and Russell are first bumped off the porch. He leaves it laying on the ground while he chases down the house and collects it later offscreen.
