Psycho (1960)

Corrected entry: During the filming of the shower scene, the filmmakers used very cold water so that the expression of horror/shock on Janet Leigh's face would be as realistic as possible. Mentioned in the Universal Studio tour.

pierpp

Correction: Untrue, and it's been corrected many times before. Janet Leigh said in an interview that in fact Hitchcock always made sure she was comfortable during the shooting of the shower scene. The cold water is a myth.

The Birds (1963)

Corrected entry: In the last scene, Rod Taylor takes the car out of the garage and drives it some distance from the front door of the house and makes Tippi and the rest walk all the way to the car, through the flock of killer birds. Why not all get in the car in the safety of the garage and then drive out safely and avoid the birds altogether?

Correction: For this to happen there would need to be a door from the house to the garage. There isn't.

Psycho (1960)

Corrected entry: Hitchcock turned on ice cold water half way into the scene without Janet Leigh's knowledge to get a genuine scream in the shower scene.

Correction: No, this isn't true. Janet Leigh said in an interview that in fact Hitchcock always made sure she was comfortable during the shooting of the shower scene.

Corrected entry: Tim the Enchanter completely vanishes after the knights charge the killer rabbit.

Correction: No, while they're attacking it we see him laughing and walking off.

The Aristocats (1970)

Corrected entry: While Berlioz and Marie are singing "Scales and Arpeggios," Toulouse, paint all over his paws, jumps up on the piano and plays a couple chords as Berlioz plays the melody. Paint gets all over the piano keys, but when Toulouse jumps off the piano, the keys he played are spotless.

Correction: You never see the keys after he gets off the piano.

Ice Age (2002)

Corrected entry: At the end of the film, we see the little boy's father laying a necklace on what appears to be a makeshift grave for him, as the father thinks the little boy is dead. Why don't we see another makeshift grave for the man's wife, who really is dead? Did he forget about her? If he did make one for her, but was somewhere else, then why didn't he put the two beside each other, instead of them having separate graves?

Padzter

Correction: It isn't necessarily a makeshift grave, he's just laying down the necklace in the snow to show that he's given up his search for his son.

Toy Story (1995)

Corrected entry: When Buzz and Woody are on the top of the stairs, trying to escape from Sid's house, Woody's pull string gets caught on one of the banister spindles. The next shot shows him stuck on a different one.

Correction: No, it's always on the one next to the wall that curls away from it.

Toy Story (1995)

Corrected entry: In Pizza Planet, Buzz goes into the Claw-Game (the one with the aliens in it) and if you look carefully the wire that lowers it down is yellow but when it comes down the second time to pick up Buzz it's Black.

ShooterMcGavin34

Correction: The yellow, curly wire doesn't lower the claw, it's just on the ceiling. The wire that lowers the claw is always black and straight.
