Guys and Dolls (1955)

Trivia: The head of comedy at the BBC said that the title had to include the word "Circus", because the people at the BBC had referred to the six cast members wandering around the BBC offices as a circus, so added "Flying" to make it sound less like a real circus and more like something out of the first world war. And in front of that, added "Monty Python" because it sounded like a really bad theatrical agent, and also the large, constricting snake was also appropriate imagery.

Finding Nemo (2003)

Trivia: Many of the crew did voice cameos in the movie. Mr Ray the schoolteacher was co-writer Bob Peterson. Joe Ranft, who did various jobs on many Disney and Pixar movies was Jacques the French cleaning shrimp, and also played Wheezy in Toy Story 2. Seems they bagged all the best parts for themselves.

Trivia: A fairy godmother named Dama Fortuna was originally included in the movie, but was cut out in the beginning of the movie's production. However, Dama Fortuna will be included in 'Shrek 2' (2004).

Trivia: The talking pig is a combination of 48 real Yorkshire pigs plus an animatronic double. A makeup artist added toupee and eyelashes to each, and computer digitization manipulated pictures of the snout to make the pig appear to talk.

Trivia: Monroe wanted the film to be shot in colour (her contract stipulated that all her films were to be in colour), but Wilder convinced her to let it be shot in black and white when costume tests revealed that the makeup that Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon wore gave their faces a green tinge.

Trivia: When James Cromwell was handed the screenplay for Babe, he thumbed through it to see how many lines he had. He saw that he didn't have that many, he decided that he would do it as a nice easy film. What he didn't realize was that he would have more screen time in this film than any of his previous films, just not that many lines.

Trivia: The horses in Emerald City palace were colored with Jell-O crystals. The relevant scenes had to be shot quickly, before the horses started to lick it off.

Trivia: When The Witch tries to get off the Ruby Slippers, fire strikes her hands. This "fire" was actually dark apple juice spewing out of the shoes. The film was sped up to make it look like fire.

Trivia: The "tornado" was a thirty-five foot long muslin stocking, photographed with miniatures of a Kansas farm and fields.
