Factual error: To reveal the invisible ink on the back of the Declaration, Ben and Dr. Chase use pure lemon juice before warming the surface. This is best seen when Chase first test it out on the corner, where the Mason symbol is placed. Lemon juice is in fact also used as invisible ink (that you have to heat to make visible), and this procedure would have ruined anything written on the back of the document.

Revealing mistake: After Richard has accepted that he will be king, he appears before a large assembly. Several of the soldiers standing by the walls are obviously plastic dummies. They have unnaturally smooth and blank facial features, and when you can see their hands, they are not grasping their guns, but merely holding their hands stiffly out with the gun between them.

Continuity mistake: When Conor and Heather are making love outside, just before Ramirez appears, she says to him "You can do that to me forever if you'd like, my lord". Conor is then seen from above as he turns his head slightly and looks at her. The angle changes to a sideways shot, and his face is now turned directly upwards to the sky, and his eyes are closed. Back to the first angle, and he is once again looking at Heather with his head turned.

Continuity mistake: In the first "Godfather" film, we see Vito Corleone's tombstone, and it says there that he was born on April 29. In this movie, however, Sonny curses the Japanese for bombing Pearl Harbor on Vito's birthday. The attack on Pearl Harbor happened on December 7, 1941.

Continuity mistake: When Dick is pushing the boulder on to Dr. Vornoff, it is night time and pitch black. Except in the close-ups of Dick, then the background is much lighter, as if it was morning. A second later (when the camera goes to a long shot), it is completely dark again.

Factual error: When Dick has fallen into the hole in the swamp and is shooting at alligators, he manages to fire eight shots from a six-shot revolver.

Continuity mistake: When Dr. Strowski approaches the door to the house in the swamp, the door is a dark color with a circular ornament in the middle and only two panels. When the same door is seen from inside the house (the door opens inward), it is a light color, with five panels and no ornamentation.

Revealing mistake: When Dr. Vornoff has been subject to his own machine, and has gained "the strength of 20 men", you can easily see the platform shoes worn by Bela Lugosi's stunt double to make him bigger than Tor Johnson. Dr. Vornoff did not wear these shoes when he was strapped to the table, they only appear after he gets up.

Continuity mistake: After Janet has crashed her car in the swamp, you can see a snake in the tree next to her. In long shots, the snake is a light color, and is completely immobile. In close-ups, the snake moves and is a darker color. Also, when Lobo finds Janet, the snake is back to its original position, even though we saw it starting to crawl down the branch it was on.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the movie, we se Lobo chasing off the two hunters. Lobo is then standing outside in the torrential rain, but when he walks into the laboratory a few seconds later, he is completely dry.

Continuity mistake: When Cpt. Lawton is talking to the secretary at the newspaper, the pencil stuck behind her ear keeps disappearing and reappearing. It is there when the secretary is seen from behind, and is gone every time we see her face.

Revealing mistake: Every time the octopus kills someone, it is painfully obvious that the octopus is fake, as it never moves. The actors are only lying on top of it with a couple of tentacles wrapped around them, and thrashing about to make it appear as thought they are being killed. It never really works.

Continuity mistake: Lobo has a very distinct scar on his cheek in the beginning and end of the movie. However, just after Dr. Strowski has entered the house, Lobo is seen coming down the stairs, and his scar is completely gone.

Revealing mistake: During the fight between Dr. Vornoff and Lobo, Lobo is being thrown through the doorway of the lab and grabs the wall to steady himself. The whole wall bends, as though made of plywood.

Continuity mistake: In "Desperately Xeeking Xena", as Lucy Lawless grabs the lips of the Collector, you can see a big "C" on the back of his cape. After she has thrown him across the room and he gets up, the "C" is gone. It reappears later in the fight.

Deliberate mistake: In Episode 7, "Bad Moon Rising": When Cash meets Sasha at The Haven, she mentions "Eddie and his bodyguards being blown away". But Eddie was not "blown away", he was neatly decapitated, and in addition, none of his bodyguards were killed. Julian specifically said that he would let them live to elect a new leader. Sasha was present, and would know this.

Continuity mistake: In Episode 5, "Live Hard, Die Young and Leave A Good Looking Corpse": As Lillie is preparing to cut Zane's throat with her fingernail, she stands with her hand raised above her head for a while. When seen from the front, her hand is balled into a fist with the index finger extended, but when seen from the back all her fingers are extended. The view alternates like this several times, and each time the hand varies between fist and outstretched fingers.

Visible crew/equipment: In Episode 8, "Cabin in the Woods", after the fight in the cabin, Julian is lying injured and weakened on the floor. Caitlin then crawls to him and asks "Are you dying? I feel you leaving me". In between her speaking those two sentences, a boom mic dips into view from the top of the screen and is hastily pulled back up.

Visible crew/equipment: In Episode 8, "Cabin in the Woods": When Daedalus finds Archon on the floor of the mansion, he picks him up and helps him into a chair. The camera follows their movement upwards when they are rising from the floor, and there is a boom mic that comes into view, at the top of the screen.

Factual error: In the movie, Pontius Pilate is appointed to be governor of Judea around AD 32 (Judah is enslaved in AD 28, spends 3 years as a slave and then at least one year with Arrius before he meets Pilate, who is still not appointed). In reality, Pilate was the governor of Judea from AD 26-36.
