Escape the Field (2022)

Character mistake: Sam told Tyler, "I work 36-hour shifts, so no time for friends or relationships." There might not be Federal regulations restricting the number of hours a nurse may work in a given 24-hour (or 7-day) period, but nurses have to maintain standards of duty/care and working too many consecutive hours would jeopardize her patients. It is recommended that nurses do not work more than 12.5 hours a day or more than three consecutive DAYS of 12-hour shifts. This gives 4 days OFF for relationships. (00:26:50)

Memory (2022)

Character mistake: The SWAT team member could not see the faces/bodies of the two people under the sheet exiting the hospital, but identified Dr. Meyers as the one on the left. SWAT then asked, "Sniper two, do you have a shot on the subject on the right?" The sniper killed Dr. Meyers (a hostage) instead of intended target Alex. SWAT would/should not order a sniper to shoot at someone who could not be seen (positively identified). (01:38:18)

Memory (2022)

Character mistake: Danny told Vincent, "Lab just came back on the pills. Donepezil. Alzheimer's drug. Your shooter's losing his shit." It was too early in the investigation to conclude that the drug belonged to "the shooter." There could have been a witness who ran, an accomplice, or even just a coincidence that someone not involved had dropped his pills. It would be up to the investigators to determine if the prescription bottle belonged to a suspect or "person of interest." (00:55:27)

Character mistake: According to David, the triplets were "adopted by a blue-collar family, a middle-class family, and a more affluent family." There are different ways to measure social class, but there are similarities. Bobby's more affluent family (father M.D.; mother attorney) would be "upper-middle." "Eddy's father was a teacher. Middle-class" would be "lower-middle." "My family had a little store...more blue-collar" would be lower - or upper-middle depending on income. All three families were middle class. (00:20:30)

Suggested correction: Nothing in your entry indicates a mistake. "More affluent" doesn't mean upper-middle class. And a teacher wouldn't necessarily be lower-middle class. Not to mention the fact that according to your own words, you said all three families were middle class and then ended the mistake with all three families were middle class. (Upper-middle and lower-middle are still middle class).

Eraser: Reborn (2022)

Character mistake: After Robyn asked Mason who Bud was, Mason said, "Bud was Paul and I's staff sergeant in Afghanistan." [Sic] FBI agents have at least a BA/BS and often advanced (graduate) °. Mason's use of "I's" is not proper and reflects his failure to master basic English. The possessive pronoun of "I" is "my", so Mason should have said "Paul's and my..." (01:35:16)

First Kill (2017)

Character mistake: Aunt Dottie, pointing to Will's Range Rover, said, "You're not taking that thing out tomorrow, are you? That thing's gonna get stuck before you can get started. You take the Ridgeline. That'll handle anything up there [mountains]." A Range Rover has great capability in all types of terrain and is rated as one of the best off-road SUV's - more than can be said for the Honda Ridgeline. (The movie is not classified as a comedy). The Lodge (2019)

Character mistake: Mia's Sea-Monkey, in a vertical position, was shown sinking to the bottom the jar. It isn't clear if the Sea-Monkey was dead or if Mia was referring to it when she said, "She's gonna freeze to death, Aiden", but Mia should have known how to properly care for her Sea-Monkey (or refer to the instructions) and, realizing the room was too cold, should have done something - such as wrapped a towel/blanket around the jar and/or moved the jar to a warmer location (e.g, near the fireplace). Deadlock (2021)

Character mistake: Seargent Fulbright and his three member team stormed the front and back doors with weapons drawn and said, "Hey!" followed by "Get down!" seven times, "Get the f - down!" twice, and "Put your f-ing hands in the air!" twice BUT never identified themselves as police officers as required. They arrived in a fake company van, were not wearing police uniforms (just plain jackets with "POLICE" across the back) and had badges on neck chains that were not highly visible and looked more like toys. Character mistake: Casey is sixth of six male students standing in a row to individually demonstrate a karate move for Sensei. After the fourth student, Sensei passes up student #5 and says, "Next. Casey." Sensei completely missed the fifth student, the only other beginning white belt like Casey. (00:28:45 - 00:29:10)

American Hangman (2019)

Character mistake: The judge also told Hero that if the jury found him guilty of killing Ron, he "would be put to death." This is not necessarily true. Offenders convicted of capital crimes can be given life or other sentences. In states where juries decide the punishment, they do not have to sentence the offender to death. (00:31:39)

American Hangman (2019)

Character mistake: Hero asked Judge Straight what should happen to him for killing Ron. The judge replied, "Well, then you should be arrested, incarcerated, indicted, and tried." "Incarceration" is used to refer to long-term confinement of offenders who have been convicted and sentenced. Instead of incarcerated, a judge should know that if a defendant is denied bail (typical for capital crime cases), he would be DETAINED in a jail or detention center while awaiting trial. (00:31:20)

The Gardener (2021)

Character mistake: The Gardener threw a knife that impaled an intruder's gut, essentially rendering the intruder incapacitated. At this point, the intruder was no longer a threat and did not pose imminent danger, therefore the Gardener was NOT justified in shooting the intruder in the forehead and killing him. The Gardener could be charged with some degree of murder, such as voluntary manslaughter (provoked and loss of self-control or inability to control emotions). (01:15:20 - 01:15:55)

Assailant (2022)

Character mistake: Erin, a nurse, looked at Jason's bruise in the woods and said, "It's really hard to tell what it is. I mean, could be internal bleeding." Technically, ALL bruises are caused by internal bleeding (but the bleeding doesn't break through the skin). A nurse should know the possible signs/symptoms of internal bleeding (the serious type), such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, loss of balance, change in vision, low blood pressure, etc. and the nurse should have at least checked for a rapid heartbeat. Copshop (2021)

Character mistake: Valerie approached a group of wedding attendees fighting outside the venue, saying, "Break it up" a few times. When that didn't work, she fired two "warning shots" into the air. The second shot was aimed more toward the brick porch/overhang. In general, warning shots are not permitted and it is illegal to discharge a weapon in a public place, except in the line of duty when faced with imminent threat of serious bodily injury or death. There was no justification to discharge her firearm. (00:05:20)

Character mistake: Immediately after kissing (through masks) and having close contact with JJ, Valeria removed her protective mask and went to check on her sick/crying child. Valeria was clicking her tongue, kissing her child on the face/head and putting her hands around the child's ears/hair. Valeria did not take appropriate preventive measures for contracting and/or spreading COVID-19. (00:18:40 - 00:19:29)

Marry Me (2022)

Character mistake: Math Club Advisor Charlie should know that the formula for solving the circumference is "C = 2πr" or "C = π x diameter." However, he used "P" (Perimeter) instead of "C" on the blackboard. "Perimeter" does mean the distance around a shape, but the word "circumference" is used for the perimeter of a circle. The formula for the perimeter of a rectangle is different ["P = (L + W) × 2"] and more basic than the formula for a circle, so the "advanced" students should be given the correct term. (00:04:40)

Marry Me (2022)

Character mistake: After the math club students, in unison, cited pi to 3.141592, Percy continued with "65839" - but only the "65" are correct. He should have said "65358..." before being cut off (or "65359" if he was rounding up the last "89793238"). Even though the movie is classified as a comedy, Percy was showing off, but he was wrong. Charlie, Math Club Advisor, also committed a mistake because he stopped Percy by saying "Percy, we got it. Good" (as though Percy was correct). (00:04:29)

Character mistake: The prosecuting attorney told William, "In the interests of getting this thug [Danny] off the streets as soon as possible, his attorney has agreed to plead guilty to assaulting an officer, possession with the intent to distribute, and resisting arrest, and that's all in addition to his parole violations. We're looking at five to seven [years in prison]." The parole violations alone are sufficient to get Danny off the streets immediately. (00:09:34)

Blacklight (2022)

Character mistake: After Travis confronted FBI Director Gabriel Robinson (killings and telling him to go public about Operation Unity), Gabriel said, "I am the director of the most powerful organization in the world." There may be interpretational issues regarding the meaning of "power" and what constitutes an organization (versus corporation, law enforcement agency, company, etc.), but the FBI is NOT the most powerful organization in the WORLD (the U.N. is?) and probably not even within the U.S. (01:31:50)
