The Producers (2005)

Trivia: In the first scene in Max's office, there is a calendar showing the date as June 16. Leopold Bloom is a character in James Joyce's Ulysses, which recounts the events of a single day. June 16th.

Chosen answer: The driver only carries $5 at any time, or something like that.

Finding Nemo (2003)

Chosen answer: It's the name the fish have given to the volcano in the tank, a volcano which can be "turned on" to produce a stream of bubbles (which look like a ring of fire when seen at night through the red glow the volcano produces).

Phil C.

The ring of fire is what comes out of the volcano but they gave it a name that sounds Hawaiian, I'm assuming; Mount Wanhanaluki or something like that.

Aww. You missed another joke! It's Mount Wanahakalugi, or "Want to hock a loogie", ie. Spit.

Out of Africa - S10-E5

Continuity mistake: Coop (new resident) has to have a dressing put on his face while a burn victim is being treated. In a later scene, he's assisting treating another patient and the dressing is gone. But a few minutes later, the patient dies and Coop's dressing is back.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Aragorn suggests attacking the Black Gate in order to draw out the orcs and give Frodo safe passage, the amount of Gandalf's hair hanging loose from his pony tail varies from shot to shot. (02:24:25)

Question: At one point in the movie, Pippin has to sing for Denethor. I've heard that while the music was composed by Billy Boyd, the lyrics were actually from the book. Does anybody know which song in the book they were taken from?

kendra jackson

Chosen answer: The song is called "A Walking Song." It's in Chapter three (Three is Company) of Book 1 in Fellowship of the Ring. Mainly they used the last stanza in the movie.

Veronica Guerin (2003)

Factual error: Tony Gregory, the politician that Veronica meets, is seen wearing a suit and tie. Tony Gregory the TD, made a point of never wearing a tie.
