Factual error: As Gently drives to the holiday camp at speed, he nearly collides with an MG 1100. Although the MG 1100 was introduced in 1962, this particular one is a two-door model, which wasn't added to the range until 1967, three years after this episode is set.

Plot hole: Chrissy is pushing her baby Jay in her pram into the school playground. Justine and Luke call out to her from an upstairs window, then come out to meet Chrissy. They come down from an upstairs floor to the playground in five seconds, which is not enough time.

Factual error: Justine and Maria are in Justine's bedroom. Justine is showing Maria the photos on her bedroom wall of her family and school friends. There is a photo of Banksie and Zammo on the wall. These two boys left Grange Hill at the end of series 10. Justine started in series 11, so she would not have known them.

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, when the three girls are surrounded by the boys on bikes in the park, they are on a tree-lined path. The angle changes, and there are no trees beside the path. Additionally, the houses in the background are different from the previous angle.
