Trivia: Phoebe singing giant pigeon was a deleted scene from the pilot. When it was used years later in DVDs with extended footage the audio was not very good and they had to get Lisa Kudrow to redo the audio. (This information can be heard on extended DVD audio commentary for the pilot).

Trivia: In one of the intros used in season 1 on TV you can see a clip of Ross, Chandler and Joey dancing in Ross' apartment. That clip is not in any aired episode. It's in the extended version of "The One with All the Poker".

Answer: Also, there was a pretty bad snow storm in NYC. This is why the wedding is outside in the street with no one around. Likely her family was unable to travel.
Answer: For one thing, it was a very quickly-executed affair, on the street outside the coffee shop with Joey officiating. Second, Phoebe doesn't have much in the way of family, and of those we saw over the course of the series: she and her sister hate each other; her grandmother passed away years before; she hadn't been in contact with her birth mother, nor her biological father, in some time; and her brother, the only one she'd likely invite, is busy trying to raise triplets.
Answer: Season 6 episode 18: Ross dates a student.
