Continuity mistake: While Marty and Frasier are fighting Marty smashes some plates. The shot changes to the living room with Frasier apologizing and then switches back again. However, now all the smashed crockery has disappeared to be replaced by what looks to be a bowl and a tumbler.

Continuity mistake: When Martin and Shelly are having a fight, Frasier puts a small bag down, which is yellow on one side and has a logo on the other. He puts it down with the yellow side facing us, and for a several shots it stays like that. However, when Martin is talking about "things that bugged me," you see the bag has inexplicably rotated so the logo is now facing us.

Continuity mistake: When Martin first finds out how Niles cured the basketball player, Niles is getting a drink, and Martin is in his chair. During the shots between them, the remote control on the table next to Martin instantly rotates between angles at least twice.

Continuity mistake: Martin goes out to a baseball game with a famous writer that Frasier and Niles admire. While he is out, they read one of his books he accidentally left behind. When the author returns, he ends up holding the pages of the book in his hand, whilst standing in front of the fireplace. In one shot he is holding them in his left hand, but when the view cuts to another angle, he has them in his right hand. This occurs just before he goes outside to throw the pages off the balcony. Continuity mistake: In the scene where Monica and Ross walk in carrying a few carrier bags, Monica takes out a pack of green plates, but in the next shot she is holding 4 packs of plates - 2 green, 2 red. She did not have time to pick up another pack between shots. (00:08:05)

Continuity mistake: When Susie is asking Chandler to wear her undies, her hand is on his neck. In the next shot it is gone, and then it is back again. (00:08:45)

Continuity mistake: Chandler is talking to Susie (Julia Roberts) and a man is standing behind Chandler in a doorway. There is a cut to Susie, but when the camera goes back to Chandler the man is not there. Then he appears again. (00:03:20)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Chandler and Joey want to meet women with Ben, Chandler is holding the baby. A little after Chandler says, "Oh seriously you want him?" The position of Chandler's hands holding Ben changes between shots. (00:05:55)

The One Where Underdog Gets Away - S1-E9
Revealing mistake: Whenever Monica's apartment is shot from the point of view of the balcony looking in, fake walls have to be put up across the room to cover the open space (since there is no wall there usually). When the friends are looking out the window at Ugly Naked Guy and his girlfriend in this episode, you can see that the rear wall does not extend nearly far enough - there is a large black space behind Monica. Continuity mistake: When Buffy finds Dr. Gregory's glasses on the lab floor she places them on the table, from the long shot she places them at the left end of the table near a plastic tub with a white lid, with the glasses open. Then it cuts to a close up where they are in front of a book on the right side of the table and are closed. Then cut back to the long shot and they are in the original place. (00:10:25)

Continuity mistake: When Phoebe's boyfriend is talking about Chandler at the coffee shop, the cookie he is holding jumps from his left to his right hand in an instant between shots. (00:03:20)

Continuity mistake: When Karen pours a cup of coffee, the coffee is old, so she pours the coffee out of the window and puts the blue mug in a large see-thru plastic container. In the next shot the mug has vanished. (00:10:45)

Continuity mistake: When Karen reads Stan's will and sees that a third of his money will go to charity, she goes woozy in her chair. In this shot the table is free from loose jewels, yet in the next shot two rings are sitting on the table. (00:10:45)

Continuity mistake: Buffy's birthdate starts at 1979. In "I Robot, You Jane", when the demon pulls up Buffy's file in the school system, it shows her year of birth as 1980 and her year as sophomore. But when her file comes up on the student's computer screen, it's changed to 1979 and that she is a senior. It wasn't until towards the end of season 1 in "Nightmares" that her birth year is 1981 (on her tombstone before she comes out as a vampire). (00:08:30)
