Corrected entry: When Jack saves Ann from Kong, they start climbing down a vine. But look closely: it's not a vine. It's a rope.
Correction: I have looked at the scene over and over, and it looks nothing like a rope. If the statement was pointing out the thickness of the vine, however, we must keep in mind that vines do come very thick (e.g. lianas, the woody vine) and it is a fictional jungle, so who knows what foliage is unique to the island. But nothing in the scene conclusively points to it as a rope.

Corrected entry: When John is first trying to get Al's attention, he hits the window several times with a chair without breaking it, but at the end, after John shoots Hans, he easily breaks a window by just staggering back into it.
Correction: The bullet went through Hans, shattering it just as his body hit it.

Corrected entry: Doctor Malcolm never gets out of the helicopter when it first lands on the island.
Correction: We see Malcolm throughout the rest of the movie, so clearly he got off the helicopter. Lots of things happen offscreen, including the characters getting *in* the helicopter in the first place.

Corrected entry: In the beginning, the subtitles say "Isla Nublar. 120 miles off the coast of Costa Rica." However, the correct spelling of the island is Isla Nubar.
Correction: Nope, it's the (fictional) island Isla Nublar, both in the book and film. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isla_Nublar.

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Corrected entry: When Luke and Darth Vader are fighting and Darth Vader is hurling things at Luke, one thing he throws flies through the window and makes a giant hole. However, when Luke gets sucked out, the hole is twice as big even though nothing else went through it.
Correction: There is clearly a vacuum (or at least drastically reduced air pressure) on the other side of the window. The suction created by the pressure differential could have easily sucked more of the broken window out.

Evan Almighty (2007)
Corrected entry: The fish in the tank shouldn't be attracted to him. If the dam would break, the fish wouldn't be harmed because the flood would be freshwater, since it's from a lake.
Correction: All God says is that a flood is coming; he never gives details of what that flood will entail. It's assumed by Evan that the flood will be of Biblical proportions; there's no reason to suggest that the animals who are drawn to him know any different. As the fish don't know that it's just going to be a dam break, it's natural that they would be drawn to Evan to save them from what they think is coming.

Corrected entry: I find it funny that fish are attracted to Evan. Are they attracted to him because they want him to save them from the flood? They're fish and the last time I checked, fish could breathe underwater.
Correction: It's freshwater fish that have the problem - if the oceans rise up then their habitat will become saltwater, and they can't survive in a marine environment, so it makes perfect sense that they would flock to Evan to save them.

Corrected entry: You would think that a shockwave that could destroy buildings, buses, trees, humans, etc., would also destroy playground equipment.
Correction: The nuke and shockwave are both occurring in Sarah's dream meaning they don't have to follow the laws of physics.

Corrected entry: Dinosaurs and humans were not alive at the same time.
Correction: There were no dinosaurs in this movie. All of the animals seen, the mammoths, the sabertooth tigers, and the large birds all existed alongside humans.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Corrected entry: When escaping the hospital, the man that Sarah almost killed (I forget his name doesn't have a cigarette in his mouth until the T-1000 walks through the bars, and a cigarette falls out of his mouth.
Correction: Dr. Silberman never had a cigarette. He pulls the protective cover off the needle on a syringe of sedative with his teeth. Then when the T-1000 walks through the bars, it drops out while he is gaping.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Corrected entry: Sarah says that the first terminator attacked her in 1984. This makes no sense. There are two ways to think about it. 1: John looks about thirteen years old, but thirteen years after the attack is 1997. Judgement Day. There wouldn't be enough time to have the third movie. 2: John's police record says he is ten, but that would mean the year is 1994. He is definitely not 13 in the third movie.
Correction: The only real mistake here, is that the actor playing John looks older than 10. The 2nd movie takes place in 1994, when John is suppose to be 10. The 3rd movie takes place in 2004, when he is suppose to be 20. The 3rd movie can happen in 2004, because the events of the 2nd movie delayed judgment day from 1997 to 2004.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Corrected entry: The first movie takes place in 1984 and this one takes place in 1991 making John seven at the most. However, his police file says he is ten.
Correction: The movie was *released* in 1991, but it actually takes place in 1994. The Terminator states that Cyberdyne becomes the largest supplier of military computer systems and Skynet goes online in August 1997. He also says he was given orders by John "35 years from now," which would coincide with the 2029 date.

Corrected entry: This movie takes place in L.A. You must be at least 21 to have a motorcycle licence in California. I'm pretty sure John isn't 21.
Correction: A kid that steals money from ATMs is not likely to care whether he has a license or not.
I agree he doesn't care. Not to mention John is supposed to be 10 at the time of the movie and the actor himself (Furlong) is only 13, so he didn't have any sort of license.
Also, John was riding a dirt bike, which is illegal to ride on public roadways regardless of the age of the rider, rather than a street-legal motorcycle. And, as Sacha said, John is hardly a law-abiding 10-year-old, as evidenced when the T-1000 uses the police car's computer and finds John's extensive police record.

The Simpsons (1989)
Corrected entry: Snake jumps into the crowd of Sadgasm fans and Chief Wiggum is chasing him. However, Snake wasn't a criminal in the nineties. In another episode, you find out that Snake became a criminal when Moe stole his gold to pay for dating Edna. This is the same year that she started teaching Bart and according to another episode, he's never been held back, so it's only been a year.
Correction: The Simpsons history has to be adapted over time, in order to fit its "present day" setting in with the fact that it's been going for nearly 20 years. As such it doesn't constitute a mistake, even a deliberate one.

Corrected entry: When Homer is on the phone with someone in his work station, (I think it's Lisa) he's talking on a phone that's connected to his work panel. When he turns to his right, there's another phone connected to the wall. Why would one person need two phones?
Correction: One closed-circuit intercom for calls made inside the plant, and one regular phone. For instance.
