General questions

I'm trying to remember the name of a movie. I think it was released mid-late 90's. It's about a guy who meets a girl on a train/subway, then tries to find her again. All this talk about "my sassy girl" reminded me of it and I can't get it out of my head. Thanks for any help you can give.

Answer: Could it be "On the Line" starring Lance Bass and Emannuelle Chriqui?

General questions

I am looking for the title of a movie that I vaguely remember. It is an older movie (like already on DVD or TV) that I saw within the last year or so. The plot is something about a girl who breaks up with her boyfriend and moves in with a co-worker who is known as the office player. I want to say she chose to take the co-worker up on his offer to make someone else jealous, and this scene took place in a break room. I think he has some type of rent-controlled apartment and when she moves in he has a sheet hung over her door because he was making improvements with his previous girlfriend, who broke his heart. He promises to put in a door and finish the repairs for her, and by the end of the movie, he finishes them and ends up falling for her. I remember another scene of a conversation in the apartment kitchen one night where he was with another girl (one of his one-night stands) and he came out to get something out of the kitchen and ended up talking to her. She said she used to be a cheerleader and somehow ends up showing him a cheer in her underwear when the girl he was with walks out to find out what is keeping him. I'm not sure of any of the actors in this, but they were not complete unknowns. Any ideas?

General questions

I would like to know the name of a movie. It was made a while ago and it had three brothers. They wanted to help their mom out by going on a trip to the mountains to make a movie about bears. On their journey they passed a crocodile scene and an eagle scene.

Answer: I believe you are talking about "Wild America" with Devon Sawa, Johnathon Taylor Thomas, and Scott Bairstow.

General questions

I remember seeing a film towards the end of the 90s but can't remember the title. I'm pretty sure it was a tv movie. It was an American film and all I remember was some woman was kidnapped by a guy who was a bit of a psycho, but he appeared normal to all the people in the town. He was a real "pillar of the community" kind of guy when he was around people, but he led a secret serial killer double life. He lived in a really big house in the middle of the woods (possibly Pacific Coast/Washington state) and the house was really modern in terms of its decoration and architecture. He drove a black SUV or a van that he would transport these women in. I remember that she tried to escape from his house, but he had these nasty big black dogs outside that would attack if they saw anyone other than their master. She was trying to escape from the house by holding on to this wire leading away from the house and the scene that sticks in my mind is the woman dangling precariously above the dogs but the dogs were oblivious to her being above them. I think she might have been interacting with the guy and trying to gain his trust by acting like his friend.

General questions

Does anyone remember a movie, probably made in the late 70's early 80's somewhere in that time. All I can remember is that its a horror movie, about a little girl who fell in a well and died, its got some rhyme that goes with it but I cannot remember. I also believe that it has some type of clown doll in it also.

Answer: "Child of Glass."A Disney TV-Movie. A family moves into a haunted Louisiana mansion. The son makes friends with the girl ghost cursed to haunt the home. He must solve a riddle to free her. In the end, she is freed and leaves the doll, revealing the hidden diamonds within which cursed her in the first place, because she refused to give them to her cruel uncle.

All I can remember is, in one episode this woman (main character?) went to see the famiily of her boyfriend, and he has a brother who pretends to be retarded after an accident the brother causes, and he feels quilty and looks after him and wears a helmet of some sort. In the end the family find out he is faking it.

Answer: This was an episode of "Just Shoot Me" starring David Spade and Laura San Giacomo. David Cross played the "retarded" brother. The episode aired in 1999 and is called "Slow Donnie".

General questions

In most movie previews, it seems like the narrator/announcer voice is the same, or that there is one man who does action movies and one who does comedies. Anyone know the name of this person/people?

Answer: There are at least 5 men that do the voice overs. Don La Fontaine, John Leader, Nick Tate, Mark Elliot and Al Chalk are five that do voice overs. Here is a funny video in which all five star: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLbYaAqtgXg.
