Character mistake: After Wade is going over the second clue in his mind and trying to figure out what part of Halliday's past is he trying to escape from, he looks over the wall of article clippings and notes he has hung up. When the camera stops on Karen Underwood's obituary, there is a hand written note beside it listing movies set in New York, with the sentence "Set in New York" underlined. This apparently him looking for clues in films set there for the race challenge that is in Manhattan. However, one of the films he has written on that list is Mad Max, which takes place in Australia, not New York. (00:35:00)

Character mistake: After Baca and the other soldiers hear Zoe's shots, they take off to try and find her. It cuts to Zoe wandering the hall with her gun ready and backing up, where suddenly she backs into Baca who for some reason is also walking backwards and they get a jump scare. Only this makes absolutely no sense on Baca's part. It was in a doorway with the other men following him and the others were facing towards Zoe and could see her. Baca was leading them and yet was for some reason walking backwards through the door so that this jump scare could happen. (00:31:40)

Character mistake: Zoe states that Lilly's condition is very contagious and will spread through the camp if they don't go out and get the proper medical supplies they need. She puts Lilly in quarantine... and then proceeds to visit Lilly with no protective equipment. No mask, and even touches Lilly with her bare hands before going back out to the rest of the people. Character mistake: When the posse is heading out in the morning, one guy says that it's heading north and they start riding in the direction he's pointing. However it's supposed to be first thing in the morning, and you can see the shadows of the horses cast to the left of screen while they are riding towards the camera. The sun rises in the east, which would be right of screen with the shadows cast towards the west. Since they are riding towards camera, this puts them heading south.

Character mistake: As the other cops get to Mike and Steve, the lady cop stands and starts shooting at the mercs with her assault rifle, which appears to be an M16 variant. It is obvious the actress playing the cop has no idea how to actually hold a weapon, as it's resting right up against her cheek with the butt of the rifle barely against her shoulder at all, and she has her eye right up against the sights where it would slam her in the eye with recoil. Character mistake: Mike and Steve try to get Kenny out of their squad car while under fire. The driver side of the car is fully protected as it's the passenger side that the merc is shooting at. Mike tries to open the back door on the driver side but says it's stuff and asks Steve to get Kenny out on his side... where the merc is shooting. Kenny crawls to the front of the car, they open up the passenger door and Steve pulls him out. Mike then asks if they can get Kenny around to his side. Only while he's asking this you can see the front door on Mike's side is wide open. Kenny could easily have just gotten out that way and out of the line of fire. He even crawled to the front seats but got out on Steve's side instead of the open door on Mike's side where it was safe. (00:46:30)

Character mistake: In the start of the film, the sticker on Peter's head for his work misspells the word Bleecker Street on it.

Character mistake: When Donnie turns to the cameraman, Carl, and asks if he liked the film they just made, he responds in a normal American accent. Carl has been established in the series as German with a thick German accent, and the actor playing him, Rob, either forgot to use the accent or just didn't at that moment with them forgetting to change the audio in post. Character mistake: Nostalgia Critic states that once Affleck goes to the war, he spends his time in "fighter jets." But while saying this, shows him in a WWII propeller powered fighter plane. (00:11:10)

Character mistake: As Declan and his spotter see the Jackal's van, the spotter states that the range is it's at is 762 meters. But in the shots showing the van and their position, it is much closer than that. It's possible they meant 76.2 meters, a much more reasonable number. (01:43:05)

Character mistake: At the docks, The Jackal draws his pistol on Declan to kill him, but Koslova returns fire to save Declan. The Jackal's pistol is silenced, however Koslova's is not. And they engage in a fire fight and foot chase on a dock crowded with people. Koslova appears to be using a Beretta 9mm pistol, which is loud in it's own right. Yet as they exchange shots, not a single civilian near by reacts to the fire fight or panics whatsoever. She even runs past a few and pushing them out of the way waving her gun around, and they merely treat it like an annoyance. There was plenty of people around to hear the loud gunshots of Koslova's pistol and could see the Jackal firing with his as well. (01:12:20)

Character mistake: In the Chicago-Mackinac race, the Jackal is trying to blend in with the other boats. But he has an American flag visible on his boat. When in the race, the boats only use fleet pennants. Other flags indicate "Not in the race." So the coast guard that waved at the Jackal would have realised this. (01:07:40)

Character mistake: When Big Nick and his team are first discussing the theft of the armored truck early in the film, Nick is eating and turns to one of his partners and asks for him to give him the "Pepto", or pepto bismol. You can see in this shot the bottle of pepto bismol is already sitting on the desk next to the guy, but then the guy opens the drawer and mimes the movements acting like he's pulling it out and setting the bottle on the desk. Character mistake: Jackal begins to unload his weapon at Lemont and his car. And as the camera pans to a reaction face of Lemont, it quickly cuts to his chest where you see a large burst of blood suddenly happen as one of the shells nails him in the chest. The very next shot is of him tumbling backwards and now there is no hole in his chest. (01:01:10)

Character mistake: At the meeting of the MVD and FBI where they are discussing Terek's hiding place, she mentions that he's in the town of Porvoo and that it is 60 kilometers west Helsinki. Porvoo is actually 50 kilometers northeast of Helsinki. (00:12:45)

Character mistake: Sophie finishes making fake passports and IDs for the Jackal, and states that she had to use ethyl acetone, and that it's naughty stuff that causes liver cancer. This is wrong, as Ethyl acetone is non toxic and a popular solvent because of this. (00:15:25)

Character mistake: When George throws one of the soldiers through the cockpit door of the plane, you get a brief glimpse at the pilot and co-pilot, both of which are wearing a Bose headphone/mic set. However the co-pilot has his one backwards, with the mic bent from the right side when it's meant to be on the left. (00:44:50)

Character mistake: As the camera pulls back from the truck, the Level 3 Sentry on the ridge looks up and fires rockets into the sky for no reason while the enemies are advancing from in front. Sentries specifically target human movement from the enemy team, and there are no rocket jumping Soldiers or sticky jumping Demomen off in that direction. The sentry is just shooting at nothing up in the sky. (00:01:10)

Character mistake: When the Level 3 Sentry gun is revealed on the right of the screen and fires a rocket barrage to the left, you hear it explode as the Engi looks over. You then hear Scout scream "My arm!" really loud. Then an disembodied arm falls in front of Engi with a plop. However, this arm is from the character model of Sniper, not Scout. Including his glove and his watch. (00:00:45)

Character mistake: Once Santino and Ares find John again in the hall of mirrors, John is fighting two of the grunt men that came in with Ares and kills them. Both of which had light assault rifles and weapons on them. John and Ares proceed to empty their pistols out at each other before she runs off with Santino. John then throws his empty pistol away and gets up to pursue his target unarmed and while limping. It is unreasonable to think that someone with his skill and training and experience would not take two seconds to reach down and pick up one of the guns dropped by the two men he just killed before chasing after his target, especially given the highly trained body guard with him accompanying his target. As well as probable encounters with more grunts. To add to this, he was seen doing just this moments before when he had limited ammo and each time he'd down a few enemies he would pick up one of their guns and continue. (01:41:30)
