Polymorph - S3-E3

Corrected entry: When Lister is preparing the meal, he puts all the ingredients into the microwave and closes the door. When he opens it again, a plate has magically appeared inside the microwave. (00:04:20)

Dwarf

Correction: Lister also dumps a lot of curry powder into the microwave, and when he reopens the door after baking, there is a full meal prepared. Clearly, this is not a mistake, but in fact part of the futuristic technology used to create the meal. The plate was likely generated along with the rest of the meal.

Red Dwarf (1988)

Correction: This is because they are not in the hologram simulation suite at this point, they are in the control room. When the explosion occurs, and when Holly realises it was the yellow cable Lister was meant to use, they are in the hologram simulation suite. The scene then cuts to them in the control room afterwards, and Holly is standing in his current position because he has just entered through the door to the control room.

Red Dwarf (1988)

Correction: A number of posts suggest much the same thing, neglecting the fact that Holly is trying to keep Lister's fragile sanity intact. She arranges for Rimmer to appear to land on the table by projecting a holographic image of him doing just that, as Lister would become unhinged if he saw Rimmer magically passing through solid objects all the time. Besides, according to your logic shouldn't he sink through the floor?

Queeg - S2-E5

Corrected entry: When the meteor hits the ship, everyone is thrown about except for the skutter, who does not move at all. (00:04:10)

Dwarf

Correction: Skutters perform operations outside the ship as well. They probably have magnetized wheels or some sort of stabilizers to keep them from being knocked into space.

Red Dwarf (1988)

Correction: If you look at the scene when the virus is eating their clothes and hair, they don't touch their faces or chests.

The End - S1-E1

Corrected entry: At the start of the episode when Toddhunter appears, Lister is holding his cigarette in his hand. When the camera cuts it has jumped to his ear. (00:04:20)

Dwarf

Correction: At the point in time where the cigarette apparently leaps to Listers ear he actually places it there. When Toddhunter arives on the scene, Lister screams "Yo Toddhunter" and thumps his foot. While this is going on you can see Lister place the cigarette in his ear.

Red Dwarf (1988)

Correction: As the snake is a polymorph there is no reason why it did not just change from a small snake to a large snake when it jumped at Lister.

Correction: True, however, if you knew when, where, how, and who was going to kill you, wouldn't you at least TRY to do something to stop it?

Red Dwarf (1988)

Correction: Not really a mistake, I used to work in a shop and the badges varied in size.

Red Dwarf (1988)

Correction: It's a different dimension that just happens to be 3,000,000 years into the point of departure's future.

Red Dwarf (1988)

Correction: Cats have phenomenal senses of smell and hearing. The Cat would have known Rimmer was there long before he saw him.

Red Dwarf (1988)

Correction: Holly is a computer with all kinds of fictional technology. There are any number of explanations for this. Even something as mundane as Lister's handprint simply being on file since he was a crewmember.

Correction: The motorcycle is a hologram, which is why Holly's face appears in the headlight.

Red Dwarf (1988)

Correction: This is the cat. His heartbeat is literally a music beat. He spent over a day creating a special spacesuit when he thought he was going to meet women. Having perfect hair, no matter the situation, is entirely within character.

Marooned - S3-E2

Corrected entry: Rimmer says to keep page sixty one of "Lolita", but Lister pulls out the left-side page and pockets it. As odd-numbered pages in books are on the right side, meaning he must have kept page sixty. You can see the front cover quite is the right way up so the book would not have been upside down. (00:17:05)

Dwarf

Correction: It depends on how the book is numbered. Odd numbers are not *always* on the right. I own several books where page 1 and two face each other.

Correction: Holly has always been rather sarcastic. More of a character trait than a mistake.
