The Book of Eli (2010)

Corrected entry: During the fight at the house, Redrigde picks up a box that was thrown out of a window. Realizing its a bomb he drops it right next to the front of a car. The next moment the car blows up but the explosion of the car originates from the middle of the car, not from where the box was laying.

lionhead

Correction: This "mistake" has already been corrected, and is listed in the corrections. The canvas wrap was dropped at the front of the car, but the bomb itself was tossed back behind the car, roughly where the explosion occurs.

Waterworld (1995)

Corrected entry: When the smokers attack the metal city, Enola and Helen go up to Gregor's windmill to try and escape with him. Though the battle is raging outside, you can see a calm, Smoker-free lagoon with no signs of an attack happening through any of the windows in the windmill.

rabid anarchist

Correction: The portion of the lagoon seen through the window is relatively calm, however right after Gregor throws the rope and it gets stuck, you can see a smoker on a jet ski enter the view right before the shot changes.

Waterworld (1995)

Corrected entry: If it has been so long since the water levels rose that no one remembers a time when dry land was above water, how did the little girl come to have such an accurate map to it tattooed on her back?

Correction: Probably because she came from dry land. Her family tattooed her back and sent her out to sea in a basket because they knew they were dying and that there were people out on the sea who would want to find the land. This is mentioned at several points later in the film; Helen mentioning "the basket we found Enola in," and Enola saying "I'm home" at the end.

Independence Day (1996)

Corrected entry: When the spaceship is first coming into hover position over D.C., it passes over the Washington Monument. While the shadow hits the ground and monument separately, it incorrectly hits the ground first. Since the light source comes from the left and the spaceship is moving right, it should hit the higher monument first, with the ground shadow trailing. The opposite is true in the movie. (00:22:30)

Correction: If the ship is moving from left to right and the light source is to the left, the shadow would cover the ground first and then move up the monument. If the ship was moving right to left, the monument would be shadowed first. This shot was not filmed with CG, but with a truck and actual sunlight.

Shrek 2 (2004)

Corrected entry: After Shrek, Donkey and Puss find out from the magic card that they can make a personal appointment in Fairy Godmother's office, Donkey starts walking in the direction of the office. But how did he know where to go, if he's never been there before, and the card didn't say where it is?

Correction: Donkey probably didn't know what direction he was heading, but was just eager to go off on another adventure.

Corrected entry: Elizabeth (as a little girl) sees the boy (young William Turner) floating on some driftwood and says calls for help. When Turner is determined to be alive, the Commodore puts Elizabeth in charge of his well being. While looking at him, she spies the medallion on the chain around his neck and realises it's the mark of a pirate. The Commodore comes up behind Elizabeth and asks if the boy is feeling okay (or something to this effect) Elizabeth spins around and hides the medallion behind her back till the commodore leaves. Now, she didn't break the chain, nor did she lift his head up to remove it. When she spins around, the chain is mysteriously off his neck with no effort on her part. (00:04:10)

ShooterMcGavin34

Correction: Watch her holding the chain in her left hand as she picks it up. It appears as though she is unclasping it when the camera changes to show her face. You can hear the sound of the chain sliding before it changes to show it in her hand, unclasped. Plenty of time for her to undo it.

Corrected entry: When young Will is rescued in the beginning, he wakes up and talks for a few moments. When he passes out again, the sound of his head hitting the blanket covered wood can be heard an instant before it actually hits. (00:04:00)

Correction: His head is rotating, so it is not possible to judge whether or not the sound occurs before it hits, or if it simply appears that way because he is turning his head.

Jason Sieberg

Corrected entry: In the opening scene, the line that keeps the umbrella that is floating in the water pointed straight up is visible in the shot of the umbrella floating past the side of the ship. (00:02:10)

Forrest Wilkinson

Correction: There is no line visible, either in real time or watching frame by frame.

The Time Machine (2002)

Corrected entry: The Eloi "leader" doesn't know the stone language. The next day, he is nearly fluent.

Correction: In the first instance, Mara breaks in on her own immediately after Alexander says he doesn't understand the Eloi language. It's not that he doesn't know it, it's that he never attempts to speak the stone language until confronted by Alexander the next day.

Deep Impact (1998)

Corrected entry: Sara's dad put the key for the motorcycle in the jar 3rd to the right. When Leo "steals" the motorcycle he finds the key in the jar 4th to the right.

Correction: Perhaps the last jar was cut out of the video version, but in the widescreen version you can see him put it in the 4th jar.
