Corrected entry: While discussing completing the mission, after capturing the half-track, Medic Steven Gould sarcastically says "With a full arsenal of two pistols and a bolt action." At this time he would have known that they had at least two rifles. Then we see them marching through the woods with four rifles.

Correction: They hadn't checked the German vehicle yet. They check it in the next scene and find the additional weapons.

Corrected entry: In the final shootout, the GIs are using at least one semi-automatic American M1 Garand rifle. It is never explained where they got this from, as all they had before were captured German bolt-action Mausers. They are escaped POWs and have been stripped of their own weapons. They have encountered no American corpses or vehicles except an ambulance, which they specifically state has been stripped of everything of use. At one point Gould actually says all they have is a "bolt-action".

Correction: The escaped POW's ambush a German vehicle at the French woman's home. They found a cache of weapons in the back, including the Garand. It's not unreasonable to think that the Germans had taken a Garand off a dead/wounded/captured American or simply found one somewhere.

Super Troopers (2001)

Corrected entry: In the beginning of the film when Thorny and Rabbit are chasing the Miata that Mac is driving, there is a shot that shows Mac manually shifting gears. Later on in the movie when Mac and Foster decide to go undercover in O'Hagan's truck, Mac doesn't know how to use a stick shift anymore. (00:07:50 - 00:52:15)

Correction: Driving stick shift in a car and stick shift in a semi are very different.

The Green Mile (1999)

Corrected entry: When they are drugging Wild Bill, Wild Bill gets up off of his mattress on the floor to go to the bars of his cell. When the drugs kick in, he goes and lays down in his cell on a bed with a mattress on it.

Correction: Since he is sitting on the bed with the mattress after drinking the drugged soda, its logical to assume that he moved the mattress back onto the bed.

Corrected entry: When Andy is escaping and breaks a hole in the sewer pipe, the sewage and water erupt out of the pipe. After that, the top inside part of the pipe should have been wet. But when he uses his flashlight to look inside, that section of the pipe is dry.

Correction: It is wet.

Schindler's List (1993)

Corrected entry: When the train is taking Schindler's workers to Czeckoslovakia toward the end, they take an icicle from out the tiny window and melt it for water. When they next cut to a shot of the train trolling by, it's rather odd that the ONLY patch of ice on all the cars rolling by just happens to be over that one window.

Correction: Odd, but not impossible.

Armageddon (1998)

Corrected entry: At the beginning when the small asteroid fragments destroy the satellite and kill the astronaut you can see that the pieces fall down even though they should be in zero G.

Correction: They fall down because they are caught in the gravitational pull of Earth.

Windtalkers (2002)

Corrected entry: In the early scene where Enders is in the hospital, the nurse gives him his pills in a plastic cup. Plastic was not in use in that manner in the 1940's and chances are the nurse would have given Enders the pill by hand.

Correction: The cup is made of paper.

Windtalkers (2002)

Corrected entry: All through the movie when Enders fires his Thompson even in the close up shots you never see a single shell casing come out of the weapon.

Correction: This is not true. In some of the first scenes on Saipan (the slow motion ones where he is mowing down the Japanese) you can see the Thompson ejecting spent shells.

Windtalkers (2002)

Corrected entry: During Enders patrol on Guadalcanal, all but one of the Marines with him are carrying M-1 Garand rifles. Marine riflemen landed on Guadalcanal with the older 1903 Springfield rifles. Only a handful of M-1's found their way to Marine hands which were stolen from follow-on Army landing troops.

Correction: They aren't necessarily on Guadalcanal. That island was secured in February 1943. It is more likely they were on another island in the Solomons, such as Bougainville.

Corrected entry: Towards the end of the movie, at the docks, when Einhorn has the gun pointed to Ace's head, you can see that the trigger is pulled all the way in. (01:10:30)

Correction: The revolver is a Smith & Wesson Model 36. If you pull the hammer all the way back the trigger will retract to that position so that only a slight tug is required to fire.

Corrected entry: On the shore it shows a full can of ammunition floating in and out on the tide. A full can would be as heavy as a rock and would not move.

Correction: There is nothing to show that the can is full.

AdmRose

Corrected entry: Many tanks were landing on the beach at the beginning. Actually, only two tanks landed on "Omaha Beach."

Correction: There are no tanks on the beach at all. This is made light of several times during the Omaha Beach scene by several different characters.

AdmRose

Corrected entry: In a scene where Miller is talking to Ryan after blowing up the truck, Miller's uniform clearly displays the Screaming Eagle, the insignia of the 101st airborne, also Ryan's division. However, Miller was a ranger, not a paratrooper.

Correction: I looked at this scene over and over again - Miller's patch says Rangers.

Titanic (1997)

Corrected entry: When Fabrizio is nearly sucked through the port hole into the grand staircase, he is pulled from a great distance. He manages to stop, and throws himself away from the porthole. However, this is much nearer to the porthole than he was when he was sucked through originally, and yet no longer has any problems with suction - as he even pauses before swimming away. The suction would not have disappeared this quick.

Correction: Once the water level equalized with the water level inside the porthole, the suction would disappear. We see the water cover the porthole just as he is climbing up.
