The Nun (2018)

From the conjuring series comes the newest demonic force. The Nun. First seen in the second film, it was determined that the character deserved it's own film. How they were wrong.

The film overall is good and links in nicely with the rest of the series however the story of the nun adds nothing to the franchise. Some good acting but predictable in places. Worth watching just for the connection to the franchise.

Peter Rabbit (2018)

My little one loves this film so it's played quite often. Plenty of puns for the adults that pass over kids heads. Some seriously questionable moments but plenty of laughs all round. Worth watching.

Bird Box (2018)

A very good make you think film. Good acting by all involved and a few moments that really tug at the heart strings. Would recommend to people who like Stephen King, Reminded me of his film, The Mist.

A good film but a few problems for my liking.

1) Too many references to the first film. The Indoraptor clicking it's claw on the floor. Maisie using the dumbwaiter to hide from a raptor, The T-Rex doing it's traditional roar. Even the rebooting the system that puts Owen and Claire in trouble. It's been done before.

2) As another review states, The whole movie is just characters making the same stupid mistakes as they did in the first film.

3) The whole Lockwood estate makes no sense. How would anyone be able to keep that many dinosaurs there and not attract any attention.

Good points:

CGI is exceptionally brilliant with good acting by a few characters.
A few good action scenes.

Not one to re-watch straight away but still good to watch.

A very good biopic but does stretch the truth in places. Don't consider this to be the complete truth. But still a good watch.

An excellent musical masterpiece from start to finish. Brings alive the history of the circus

A modern comedy about a typical Jewish family living in Britain. With a mum that just wants a nice Friday night dinner, a dad that's always on to his next scheme and 2 boys who are always peaking each other there is something for everyone

A good film however lots is missing from the book. The longest book is one of the shortest films

Easily a great tv show for kids all ages. Remember watching it as a kid religiously on a Saturday

The Shining (1980)

To be honest I found this rather boring and slow. Just could not get into the film

Jurassic Park (1993)

What's not to love? Misuse of science, death, drama and dinosaurs. What more could you want

Ssiscool

Doesn't have the captivating drama of the first film but is a good film itself. Could of been better

Jurassic World (2015)

A really good reboot to what was a dying franchise. Lots of action and pretty close to the original film.

You an see how they've tried to link it all together with the original park making an appearance at times.

The major downside is the fact they are engineering new dinosaurs.

Shaun of the Dead (2004)

A very good comedy based around the zombie franchise boom that's occurred. Always a good film with Simon Peg and Nick Frost.

South Park (1997)

Can you get any more of a classic than South park? Rude, crude and very offensive. What's not to love

A moving film showing the harsh realities of the war and the final solution

The Simpsons (1989)

A brilliant tv series that has stood the test of time. Though in 2018 at 29 years I think the time for this program is coming to an end. Better to end that end up stale.

Typical jokes for a teenage comedy. Lots of crude inuendoes and jokes. Reflecting on the life of 4 teenage boys
