We Were Soldiers (2002)

Corrected entry: Col. Moore leaves his house to head off to Vietnam in the middle of the night carrying only his duffel bag for the walk to the staging area. But he arrives with an M16. Hard to believe that the armory is open all night.

bnemirow

Correction: Moore is a commanding officer about to deploy on operations so he could have ordered the armory opened at any time to be issued his weapon. Military units generally have a duty officer or small guard force present or on call overnight. If they don't have access to the armory they can call in someone who does, especially if it is for the CO.

Correction: The troops did not carry their weapons on the ship, they were loaded in the weapons rack, they did not see the weapons till the night they were going to leave the ship, that's when they were issued their ammo.

In Harm's Way (1965)

Corrected entry: Early in the film Commander Eddington's wife drunkenly leaps out of the car driven by Hugh O'Brian and runs into the ocean naked. She is empty handed and was not seen carrying anything throughout all of the previous dancing scenes. Yet, the next morning on the beach she is seen opening her purse putting on makeup. Where did the purse come from?

bnemirow

Correction: When she gets out of the car and starts to unzip her dress she is carrying a small purse in her right hand.

Heartbreak Ridge (1986)

Corrected entry: Early in the film, Gunny Highway is tricked by Jones and is left stranded in the roadside diner when the bus they were on pulls away. Gunny Highway hitches a ride to the base and arrives with his two suitcases which would have been left on the bus while they were taking a short meal break.

Correction: They were waiting for another bus. That's why he had his gear (and Stitch had his guitar as well).

Saving Mr. Banks (2013)

Corrected entry: Travers Goff and little Ginty are sitting by the river in what appears to be a remote area after she visits him in the bank and yet she is licking a large, perfectly shaped, unmelted ice cream cone.

bnemirow

Correction: I would have to disagree. First, they are living in what was then a small, back-water town that probably has only a a few main streets and is surrounded by little else. A river could be right next to the town. Second, in the shot with the ice cream cone, Ginty and her father are sitting against a tall river bank, and the embankment behind them is too high to see over or any of the surrounding geography, so there is no way to judge if this is a remote area. They could easily have gotten the ice cream and walked a short distance to the river before sitting down. Third, Ginty's ice cream is half-eaten, nearly down to the rim of the cone, its rounded shape is from her having licked it, keeping it from melting all over her hand.

Chicago Fire (2012)

Shoved in My Face - S2-E11

Corrected entry: Shay and her new partner return to the firehouse near the end of the episode and spot a well dressed man who Shay believes is a lawyer there to question her. She says "This guy is looking for me and I can't deal with HER now".

bnemirow

Correction: She says "I can't deal with it right now, OK."

Forever (2014)

6 A.M. - S1-E9

Corrected entry: In the first flashback scene, Henry enters the room when young Abe is playing the piano. He calls him "Evan" but correctly calls him Abe when he leaves the room.

bnemirow

Correction: He calls him Abraham, which is real name instead of the nickname Abe. There is a character in this episode, Pepper Evans, but Henry never calls his son by the wrong name.

Razgovor - S3-E5

Corrected entry: When Shaw is released from the trunk of the kidnapper's car, she slams him in the face with a tyre iron and then, using her teeth, easily frees herself from the duct tape binding her hands. Why didn't she free herself from the tape while in the trunk?

bnemirow

Correction: We don't know much about the situation. Shaw is unconscious when she'd loaded into the car; she may only have woken up as the car drew to a halt. If so, given the reasonable assumption that the boot would be opened within seconds, her priority would be to arm herself, rather than spending valuable seconds freeing her hands, particularly as having her hands bound would in no way impede her ability to swing the tyre iron.

Dexter (2006)

What's Eating Dexter Morgan? - S8-E3

Corrected entry: Deb's boss hands her a water bottle infused with some nutrients to counteract her hangover which she is shaking in her right hand when Dexter comes into the room. When Deb gets up to leave with Dexter, she no longer has the water bottle, nor is it on her boss' desk. It has disappeared.

bnemirow

Correction: If you look closely, Deb is still holding the bottle in her right hand when she and Dexter enter the other room. We can hear her place it down before sitting at her desk.

Pitch Perfect (2012)

Corrected entry: Toward the end of the film when Becca returns to practice in hopes of rejoining the Bellas. Lily who had just been making a snow angel while lying in a huge puddle of vomit, gets up, takes off a little sweater and sits down to participate in the conversation. What about her hair, jeans, blouse, hands, etc? How did they miraculously become clean and odor free?

bnemirow

Correction: In the shots from Beca's POV, you see Lily in the background and someone wiping her down with a towel.

Corrected entry: Holly lives on the second floor and she goes up the fire escape to Paul's apartment on the third floor. However when Paul returns from shopping he enters the building and goes right into his apartment on the first floor.

bnemirow

Correction: Actually, the first door to the right of the screen leads to the staircase, which is locked unless you have a key, or you buzz Mr Yumioshi.

Flesh and Blood - S1-E19

Corrected entry: Reese is wearing his topcoat towards the end while on the phone with Det. Carter, telling her that he will bring her son to safety. Carter takes another call and when she gets back to Reese a minute later, he is standing at the trunk of his car putting his coat on.

bnemirow

Correction: Not a mistake -- he has removed his coat in order to get his weapons from the trunk and puts the coat back on to conceal his weapons.
