The Matrix (1999)

Corrected entry: When Morpheus and Neo is in the "Agent Training Program", they were walking in a crowded city. Notice that you will see that almost every pedestrians walking in the street show up twice. This is obvious when the agent pulls out his gun and the scene paused. You will see the same person with bald head just below Neo.

Correction: This was done deliberately - many sets of twins and triplets were cast as extras for these scenes. It's to emphasise that the whole thing is a program, which has only limited creativity.

STP

Corrected entry: When Trinity and Maggie are looking at a computer screen in the medical bay, you can see Ian Bliss' character swallow visibly in the background, even though he is supposed to be in a coma.

Correction: Some people in comas can swallow, some cannot; some people can breathe on their own, some can't.

STP

Corrected entry: Before the fight scene in the trailer between Elle and The Bride, Bud's body has gone. Elle was picking up her cash, not moving the body before The Bride arrived.

Correction: Bud's body has not gone; at one point in the fight one of the women even bounces off him. He may be out of some shots, but he is definitely there.

Troy (2004)

Corrected entry: Just before Achilles (Brad Pitt) is killed, he kills two guards who were about to kill the girl who stabbed the king. When he is being shot by Paris (O. Bloom), he walks a few steps forward and then dies. In the next shot, the camera zooms out from his body, and all you can see is his body in the middle of a patch of grass. What happened to the bodies of the two soldiers and the king?

Correction: The king and the guards are all killed near the altar where the girl was praying. When Achilles dies, he has come forward onto the grass so their bodies are no longer visible - they're behind him.

Moulin Rouge (2001)

Corrected entry: Right when Satine's swing starts circling while she's singing "Diamond's Are a Girl's Best Friend" you can see the rope attached to the swing at the bottom that is making the swing move.

Correction: There was no attempt to hide the rope as it would have been needed in the real Moulin Rouge to make the swing move, not just in the film - it's necessary for the act.

STP

Corrected entry: In Cloud City, Boba Fett shoots twice at Luke but when Luke starts to walk again, there's only one impact on the wall.

Dr Wilson

Correction: Both the laser blasts hit in the same place.

STP

Corrected entry: Where Luke is recovering in the bacta tank, at first the liquid have a light-blue, water-like color. If you watch in the next scene when he is outside of the tank, you can see it in the background with a deep red liquid. (00:15:30)

Correction: Bacta fluid has medicinal qualities, and it's more than reasonable to suppose that at different times throughout the process, its make-up and appearance can change. Note that the colour change occurs after the patient has been taken out of the tank.

STP

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie when the camera is showing shots of all the celebrations look closely at the crowd in the shots of Coruscant. There is a Stormtrooper being carried screaming along the top of the crowd minus his helmet.

AzN InVasian

Correction: I don't see how this is valid trivia - it's just an observation of something that is in the movie for all to see.

STP

Corrected entry: Throughout the time we see Jabba, his tail appears to be relatively dry (at least the final couple of feet or so). However, when Leia is strangling Jabba with the very chain he enslaved her with, his tail thrashes about madly, glistening moistly in the light and making a thick slimy sound.

redbaron2000

Correction: The 'thick, slimy sound' is the sound made by Jabba as he is being strangled, and the tail is not wet. Even if it was, there is more than one plausible explanation for this.

STP

Corrected entry: When Luke is slicing all the guys over the Sarlacc pit with his lightsaber, he cuts one of the guards. If you pause it quickly, when he rolls down into the pit you can see the actor's mask come off and roll away revealing his blond hair and face. (This may only be in the original version.)

Correction: This is still visible in the later version, but it isn't a mistake - the person's helmet comes off, not a mask.

Gladiator (2000)

Corrected entry: At the end fight there are rose petals falling all over the coliseum. But how did the rose petals get in the middle? Did mother nature decide to rain rose petals?

gandolfs dad

Correction: The petals are being thrown from the sides, and they blow into the middle. In some of the long shots you can see them lying in drifts, showing where they've been blown by the wind.

Gladiator (2000)

Corrected entry: How did Maximus get the horse he rides in the "Battle of Carthage"? We never see him cut the ropes/chains and the horse obviously didn't grab a sword and cuts the chains off itself.

gandolfs dad

Correction: There is a moment where we see Maximus busy cutting or undoing the harness, before he rides away on the horse.

A Beautiful Mind (2001)

Corrected entry: In the scene where John is carried out of Dr. Rosen's office by the orderlies, he is not dragging along the wheelchair, but when he leaps out of it moments earlier, he was chained to it by his ankles. The two orderlies make no attempt to remove his ankle shackles. (01:09:05)

Correction: When the two orderlies first enter the room, one passes in front of Nash's face, goes out of shot down to his feet, and there is a sound of metal, like a key in a lock, and then he comes back into shot, to pick John up by his upper arms or shoulders.

A Beautiful Mind (2001)

Corrected entry: Just before John's admitted to the mental hospital, he's giving a lecture. Before he runs into the lecture theater he leaves his briefcase on the floor outside, but when he's giving the lecture, the briefcase is open next to him.

Correction: Nash drops the briefcase to hug Marcy, and talks briefly to Charles, but he has it in his arms again as he leaves Charles to go into the lecture, and the first shot inside the lecture theatre is of the briefcase open next to the podium.

STP

Corrected entry: Remember the scene near the beginning of the movie where Nash is in his room trying to come up with his original idea and hits his head against the window. When he turns to his imaginary roommate after that, there is blood on his forehead. Then, in some of the next shots, his forehead is clean, and then the blood returns on it.

Correction: There is blood on Nash's forehead throughout this scene. Sometimes it is more or less evident depending on the camera angle, but it can be seen consistently.

A Beautiful Mind (2001)

Corrected entry: In the scenes where John Nash is doing his work in the garage, when we get a shot of the outside of the garage sometimes it's a single garage and somtimes a double.

Correction: There are two buildings behind the house - a double garage, right behind the house, and further back in the woods a smaller building where Nash does his work. This is most obvious in the scene where Alicia discovers what he's been doing - she puts the basket of washing down by the first building and then walks a bit further to look inside the second.

Good bye, Lenin! (2003)

Corrected entry: Despite what the film portrays, it was not completely impossible to exchange East German marks for West German ones after the July 1990 deadline. Having a mother in a coma would undoubtedly have been an acceptable reason to exchange money a few days or weeks later.

Correction: Even though this is probably true, it is still more than possible that the petty bureaucrat that Alex is dealing with is just trying to exert his small amount of power. We don't see Alex or his sister ask anyone else for advice on the matter.

STP

Corrected entry: Early in the film, Frodo, Sam, and Gollum are camped out inside a diamond-shaped structure. When the structure is shown from the outside, the diamond appears taller and thinner than when shown from inside looking out.

Jon Nicholas

Correction: The upper edge of the diamond is built out as well as up, so its appearance changes a lot depending on the camera angle.

STP

Corrected entry: In the scene where Smith copies himself into his first body and enters the telephone afterwards, the first person to go through that telephone is holding something in an envelop and says that its really important. He then gives it to Neo, and Neo knows he has to go meet the oracle. How is it possible to transfer an object from the purely fictional matrix, to the "real" world?

Correction: Like every other 'physical' item within the Matrix, the envelope is representative of something else (eg. the blue or red pills, which in reality are programs designed to either take a person back to the Matrix, or help the crew pinpoint their physical location in the power grid). Think also of the tape that had to be dropped off at a certain point inside the Matrix, in the Animatrix short 'Final Flight of the Osiris'.

X-Men (2000)

Corrected entry: At the end when Rogue goes to talk to Wolverine as he is leaving there is a close-up of her face with a lock of hair going across her mouth. In the next shot it has disappeared and all her hair is neatly back from her face.

Correction: She is off camera for enough time to pull the hair away from her mouth, and that's a logical thing to do when you're about to start talking to someone...
