Gladiator (2000)

Question: In the 'special features' there is a short movie made from excerpts and deleted scenes from the movie. Toward the end, Maximus is standing out on a cliff, and reaches out for something, then looks at his hand and yells. Could someone explain what was going on?

Answer: This scene is included in the extended version. This happens after he escapes and is on his way home to his family. He is most likely praying and reaching out in desperation to get home before the Romans kills his family.

Question: Are there any midi files or digital sheet music or pictures of sheet music available for the knight bus or apparition on the train?

Answer: Here is a midi file from the Knight Bus http://www.filmtracks.com/titles/prisoner_azkaban.html#audio. I wasn't able to find any free midis for Apparation On The Train, but if you are willing to spend $0.08 you can download it from http://songs3.allofmp3.com/mcatalog.shtml?group=5823&album=3&song=4&affiliate=saniheating.

Answer: All we know is that he is the brother of Bo and Vincent. He's a mystery. A hint to a sequel maybe?

Deep Blue Sea (1999)

Question: How could the shark see Samuel Jackson just before it killed him? It wouldn't be able to smell him because he had no blood on him plus he wasn't in the water.

Answer: The shark was waiting for them to come that way. It'd already smashed the escape pod. All the shark did was to lure in the water until someone got near enough for it to grab them. The sharks were unnaturally intelligent, so it seems fair that this was a part of their plan.

Mortug

Answer: I disagree with the other answer. It wasn't waiting for them, neither did it smash the non-existent escape pod to lure them in (it was a submarine used for study, and it was the explosion which caused it to become damaged) The answer is sound. Samuel's character was shouting at all the others and as a result the shark heard him. Sharks have better hearing than humans and they can hear sounds from 800ft away underwater.

Open Water (2003)

Question: After the tour guide takes the bad head count when they all get on the boat, you can see him counting them all again. Why didn't he notice right then that 2 people were missing? Also, the diving company was missing 2 scuba tanks and they didn't notice?

Answer: The whole idea with the movie was the bad count. Nobody knows why he counted wrong.

Mortug

Answer: He counted wrong because the man that begged to go back in and the other person accompanied him in the water were already counted for before going back down last minute so when he saw two people coming back up he tallied 20 people.

Question: In the scene where Draco was struck by Buckbeak. You see Hermione run up saying to take him to the hospital. If you look she has the timeturner outside of her shirt. Isn't the timeturner supposed to be a secret?

mrslaura

Chosen answer: She wears it as a necklace. Anyone knows that a necklace can pop out of your shirt at anytime. She was just careless. Anyhow I doubt any of the others around her would know that it was a timeturner and probably didn't notice it at all.

Question: Is there any reason why Passe-partout and the Wright Brothers don't appear together? Were the filmmakers afraid people would get confused and think they were watching "Shanghai Noon"?

Answer: Might be. But most unlikely. Many actors who have played in the same movies often "bump" into eachother in other movies as well. The most reasonable explanation that Passepartout doesn't meet up with the Wright Brothers is that his character is not needed in the scene between Fogg and the Wright Brothers.

Question: One of the Easter Egg entries says an egg is on every DVD and can be accessed by entering '35' when the alien writing appears on the screen. I have tried this, but it doesn't work. Can someone please go into a little more detail for me or explain why it might not work? The other easter eggs can be accessed fine.

Answer: I did some research around the net and it seems this only works with region 2 DVDs.

X-Men 2 (2003)

Question: How do the police officers survive the blast that Pyro, sends knocking them off of the porch? They would have extensive burns to their entire body if this were to really happen and not just look like they were rolling around in dirt.

Rollin Garcia Jr

Chosen answer: Pyro probably didn't want to hurt them, just scare them. Pyro controls fire, remember? That's how they didn't get burned by the blasts.

Mortug

Pyro most likely superheated the oxygen atoms just in front of the officers causing them to explode. He made sure the officers were just far enough away from the blast that the shockwave would only throw them but not kill or burn them.
