don_corleone

Corrected entry: When all the "ninjas" are attacking the village after the big entertainment show, you see Algren sticking his sword through a ninja, so the end of it comes out on the other side of the ninja's bag. Then you see Algren drawing the sword back again, but the part on the other side doesn't move an inch.

don_corleone

Correction: Algren never pulls the sword out. The Ninja drops down dead with the sword still in his back.

All That Jazz - S7-E28

Corrected entry: When Kelly and Valerie are discussing what happened outside Brandon's house two years ago, there are two flash-backs. In the first flash-back Valerie has her arms down along her body when she says "hello" to Kelly, but in the second flash-back her arms are crossed when she says "hello".

don_corleone

Correction: The flashbacks are told from both characters' points of view, and they each remember the event differently. That's why stance, tones of voice, and the conversation differ in each flashback.

The Simpsons (1989)

Correction: The door is different; The Front and side doors are used.

Corrected entry: When Michael is having the little meeting with Hyman Roth, they are talking secrets, so Roth turns up the volume on the TV. Some seconds later, the volume is on the same stage as before Roth turned it up. It is not his wife who turns down the volume, she first enters the room later. (Obviously deliberate to hear dialogue.)

don_corleone

Correction: This occurs with the 2 men in close-up, implying that we are meant to hear what they're saying, while the TV is masking the sound to anyone else. As such it's a stylistic choice rather than a mistake.

Friends (1994)

The One With The Truth About London - S7-E16

Corrected entry: When Monica and Chandler are taking their clothes off, Chandler takes his clothes off really fast, and Monica says "wow, you're fast". Then they say that they are about to see each other naked. Monica isn't wearing the top of her dress (a two-piece) any more, but she could only have removed that by pulling it over her head, which she hasn't done.

don_corleone

Correction: The mistake states, "Monica isn't wearing the top of her dress (a two-piece) any more, but she could only have removed that by pulling it over her head, which she hasn't done." This is incorrect. Yes, Monica is wearing a 2-piece outfit, but her sleeveless fitted top has a zipper at the back (down to the hem), and it's removed by her reaching behind and unzipping the back so it's off in a flash. It is not removed by pulling it over the head.

Super Grover

Correction: There is enough time when Monica is off-camera for her to have removed her top.

STP

She never leaves the frame in the scene. So no. It's an error as the OP stated.

Wall Street (1987)

Corrected entry: When Bud is sitting at the table in the start of the movie, one of his father's friends says "good bye Charlie". They should have said "good bye - Bud, or Carl". Charlie is the name of Charlie Sheen.

don_corleone

Correction: "Bud Fox" walks into the bar, and the first man he meets, is standing and his name is Charlie, and when he leaves, the other worker says "good-bye Charlie" to the character Charlie, not Charlie Sheen.

Joey (2004)

Correction: His character could be a switch hitter - Many people, myself included are able to bat left or right handed.

Pam-I-am

The Mask (1994)

Corrected entry: When Dorian is playing golf in a golfsimulator, he hits a ball from a tee placed in an other mans mouth. He uses either a 5 or a 4 iron, and he doesn't have a full swing at all, but anyway the golfsimulator says that he hit 205 meters, which is impossible with a 5 or 4 iron and not a full swing.

don_corleone

Correction: Actually the golf ball goes 205 yards, on a pretty decent swing, which is believeable.

Corrected entry: When Mary is at the driving range, she hits some balls in the water, some few seconds after she has hit one of the balls, it drops into the water about 150-200 meters out. You can see that the way she hits the ball, it would absolutely not drop into the water in that length and direction. (00:27:30)

don_corleone

Correction: Who says that was her ball? There were other people there at the driving range. Her ball may have finished up somewhere off-camera.

Runaway Jury (2003)

Corrected entry: When Fitch's assistant is escaping from Nicholas Easter's apartment, Easter smashes the windscreen with an iron pole, but a few seconds later suddenly the windscreen is whole again. (00:55:20)

don_corleone

Correction: This was already corrected once. Easter smashes the driver's side of the windshield, but there are very few cracks on the passenger side. He hits the driver's side again, smashing it further, but he never hits the passenger side. Car safety glass is designed so that the whole thing doesn't shatter in one blow like plate glass.

Paycheck (2003)

Corrected entry: Michael Jennings has bought the new 3-d TV-screen. He is setting it up, and he is wearing a tie. The angle then changes, and suddenly he isn't wearing the tie. The angle changes multiple times afterwards, and so does his wearing of a tie. (00:03:10)

don_corleone

Correction: The point of the scene is that his work on the 3D screen is taking place over 2 months. It's a montage of all the work he does, so it makes sense for him to be in different states of dress and appearance.

Corrected entry: When Michael is having the little meeting with Hyman Roth, they are talking secrets, so Roth turns up the volume on the TV. Some seconds later, the volume is on the same stage as before Roth turned it up. (01:00:50)

don_corleone

Correction: Roth's wife comes in and turns down the TV.

Ral0618

Corrected entry: When Frodo has been trapped in the spider's web, he escapes from it, and you see that he is all wrapped in it. Then he hits a large rock, and suddenly almost all the web is gone.

don_corleone

Correction: Watch closely as Frodo exits the tunnel, he grabs & pulls the strands of web almost completely off. There are still some strands around his shoulders.

24 (2001)

Day 2: 5:00 A.M.-6:00 A.M. - S2-E22

Corrected entry: In the second series in the 5.00 - 6.00 AM episode where Kim is walking around in the house, she looks out of one of the windows, where she sees the dead police officer. It was Gary Matheson who shot the police officer, but you don't hear any sound of a shot, and in the next scenes where Kim is shooting Gary there is no silencer on the gun.

don_corleone

Correction: Gary Matheson did not kill the police officer by shooting him. He didn't even have a gun on him that time. The gun that Kim used to shoot Gary was the gun that Gary took from the officer after killing him. Notice earlier that Gary entered the house with the dead officer's gun-belt.

Copycat (1995)

Corrected entry: In one of the last scenes at the bathroom where M.J. Monahan is being shot by Peter Foley, she is wearing a bulletproof west, the mirror behind her still breaks. It can't be due to the sound, because they're not all breaking.

don_corleone

Correction: She is shot once in the bullet proof vest, and once in the shoulder, which goes through and shatters the mirror.

The Flintstones (1994)

Corrected entry: When Fred is walking into the cave where the homeless people live, he is wearing black clothes. But when he is trying to escape from the mad people and is running out of the cave, he has changed to his normal orange/black clothes.

don_corleone

Correction: He took off the black coat when he went in the cave.

The Godfather (1972)

Corrected entry: Just before Michael Corleone shoots Virgil Solozzo, he speaks Italian to him. When Michael then is in Sicily, he needs his friend Calo to translate from English to Italian for him while he is talking to Signor Vitelli.

don_corleone

Correction: Being of Sicilian descent and quite knowledgeable in Italian/Sicilian history, I can tell you that there is no single 'Italian' language. The 3 main regions of Italy (Northern, Central and Southern) all have different dialects and even different cultural ideals. As such, Sicily has a completely different dialect which is vastly different from basic 'Italian'. It is in fact more Greek rooted and has a distinct differentiation in most respects. Some individual towns in Sicily even have their own distinct and unique dialect to this day. Plot-wise, Michael was also trying to keep his identity and reasons for being there secret. It was also more respectful to not directly address Signor Vitelli given the situation.
