Passenger 57

Revealing mistake: When the terrorists drop the dead body out the aircraft door, look closely at the aeroplane just beneath the door, you can see the reflection of the mat the stuntman lands on, as well as the spotters around it.

Continuity mistake: Liz Hurley shoots one of the FBI agents seated next to Rane, in the background the other agent can be seen with make-up on waiting to be shot next.

Continuity mistake: A sexy blond woman wearing a short hot-pink top, dark jacket and miniskirt exits the plane with the first 100 hostages. She leaves again later with the rest of the passengers and is seen leaving the plane again at the end when the members of the press surround the plane to question the agent.

Trivia: At the fairground, when Rane and the two terrorists walk away as Cutter is arriving, there's a white Honda Civic seen. It's license plate reads "outatime", the same as the plate on the DeLorean in Back to the Future.

Trivia: FBI Agent Dwight Henderson is portrayed by Robert Hooks, the father of director Kevin Hooks.

John Cutter: Now I'm sick of your shit.
Charles Rane: You need the passengers, I need the plane. Put me back on board and the passengers will be released.
John Cutter: Yeah right. I'm supposed to trust you?
Charles Rane: Trust your instincts.
John Cutter: My instincts are to wax your ass all over this floor.
Charles Rane: Those are your emotions acting without the benefit of intellect.

John Cutter: Plan not working out the way you wanted? Asshole?
Charles Rane: Don't flatter yourself Cutter. You prevented nothing. Although it seems I may have underestimated you.

Question: How can the plane take off from this country airport when they seem so worried about a short landing?

Answer: The plane would not be able to take off from that small airport.

Question: How did the FBI agent know that the two FBI agents on the plane were killed earlier?

Answer: It's been a while since I've watched this movie, but he obviously knows the plane is hijacked. It's a pretty safe assumption that the agents are dead as they're escorting a dangerous, high profile prisoner. Pretty easy to connect the dots. Alternatively, they could've failed to check in, and he assumed the worst.

Question: When Cutter says, "Have you ever played roulette?", how did Cutter know Charles' and Vincent's names? On the phone with Charles, he mentions both names.

Answer: I just rewatched it this morning. When Rane is trying to persuade Sheriff Biggs that he means business, one body (presumably The Captain) is thrown out of the plane. Just before the passengers are released, we see a quick shot of yo ambulances. One has 3 full occupied body bags in it. Therefore, it's implied the other two are in the other ambulance. This takes place before the FBI guy gets there. The fact that he tells Rane, those guys you killed were my friends" means that at some point they were identified by name. He could've found out numerous ways (Washington told him, briefing, the paramedics, Biggs, etc).

Answer: Everyone knows Charles Bane as the world's most dangerous terrorist. Plus, flight attendant Marti kept him informed of what was happening and who was involved. When they went below, Vincent introduced himself and explained he was not one of the terrorists.
