Revealing mistake: When Dracula goes to grab the cell bars on the window to free Reinfeld, the bars are obviously not metal as they shake and have a slight bend to them.
Dracula: Dead and Loving It (1995)
Directed by: Mel Brooks
Starring: Leslie Nielsen, Mel Brooks, Peter MacNicol, Steven Weber, Amy Yasbeck
Continuity mistake: When Dracula calls to Renfield for help in the ship's cargo hold, Renfield opens the doors and the right side of his hair is completely wet. But when Renfield runs down to the coffin and grabs it, his hair is totally dry.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Renfield is locked up in the sanitarium cell, the camera first zooms in to the horizontal bars on his window. Some shots later, the camera shows the guard looking under the doorflap, and since the door is opposite the window, the shadow of the bars fall on it. The bars have suddenly changed to a criss-cross pattern.
Trivia: For the scene in which Jonathan drives a stake into Lucy's heart, Steven Weber's reactions to getting doused in blood are real. For this particular sequence, Mel Brooks did not tell him what was going to happen.
Trivia: In the scene where Renfield arrives in the Transylvanian village, the archway which the carriage passes under is the same as in the film 'Young Frankenstein' which was also made by Mel Brooks. The only difference is the ivy covering the archway and the staircase.
Trivia: In one scene, Van Helsing asks Dr. Seward if he has the book "Nosferatu." The film Nosferatu was the first adaptation of the Dracula novel.
[Renfield is being seduced by Dracula's brides.]
Renfield: This is wrong. Do you hear me? Wrong. This is...WRONG ME! WRONG ME! WRONG MY BRAINS OUT!
Dr. Seward: Your master is gone forever, Mr. Renfield. You are your own man now.
Renfield: I am?
Dr. Seward: Yes. No one will ever control you again.
Renfield: You're right.
Dr. Seward: Good. Come, Renfield.
Renfield: Yes, Master.
Dracula: You are a very wise man, Van Helsing, for someone who has yet to live a single lifetime!
Question: The credits and IMDb claim that clips from the movies The Premature Burial (1962) and Mutiny on the Bounty (1962) are used in the film. Where are these clips?

Answer: A clip from Mutiny on the Bounty is used in the ship scene. I believe it's on deck before Renfield and Dracula are seen. The premature burial is the scene when Lucy's coffin is being carried on the moors.
