Other mistake: Jesse does not talk because of his traumatic childhood (which includes being kidnapped at a young age by Mr. Charlie), so it doesn't make much sense for him to be the narrator.

Plot hole: Calvin's mom told him to go to school and "the school called and said you only been showing up for lunch." In the street, Calvin yelled, "Everybody, I'm going back to school. I'm going back." Calvin was not interested in school, so it is highly unlikely that he would be planning on going to college. There was little or no reason for him to take the 2-hour? PSAT or SAT.
