Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)
Directed by: Peter Ramsey, Bob Persichetti, Rodney Rothman
Starring: Nicolas Cage, Liev Schreiber, Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali
Continuity mistake: When Jefferson cheers on Miles in the collider, his gun is missing.
Continuity mistake: When Aunt May first answers her front door it opens outward. Every other time the door is shown it opens to the interior as it should - front doors always open inwards.
Trivia: The animators created many small flaws in the film in order to emulate the looks of old comics. This includes color separation and a slight double-image effect in certain scenes to replicate imperfect comic-printing techniques. While the effect was intentional, many film-goers who saw the movie in 2D actually complained about these effects, thinking they were accidentally sold tickets to a 3D movie. (Especially due to the double-image effects).
Trivia: Stay for a scene after the credits.
Spider-Ham: Do animals talk in this dimension? Cause I don't wanna freak anyone out.
Spider-Ham: That's all, folks.
Peter B. Parker: Is he allowed to say that? Legally?
Stan: That person who helps others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing to do, is indeed without a doubt, a real superhero.
Question: How come Miles could venom strike and turn invisible on command just because of what Jeff said?
Question: Shouldn't Peter's spider sense work when he meets Dr Octopus?
Answer: She wasn't a danger to him in the moment they met. The Doc Oc from his universe was likely still the male version we all know and his senses were attuned to recognize him. At the moment they met and she started geeking out over him, she wasn't immediately trying to harm or threaten him so his senses had no reason to be triggered by a strange woman who, at that moment, seemed normal.
Question: What was Jeff talking about when he said Miles said they made a deal with the school about weeknights.
Answer: It's a boarding school, but Miles wants to return to his old school. Miles made a deal with his dad that he would attend the new school and stay there during the week, even though he could commute as they don't live too far away. In return, he is permitted to go home at the weekend.
