Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the movie when the guardians are getting ready to fight off an inter-dimensional being Rocket winks a couple of times at Starlord. Starlord then responds but is looking to his left at Rocket, whilst Rocket is on his right side. The scene is for no reason mirrored, proven by the big orange device behind him also switching from being on his left to on his right. (00:03:45)

Continuity mistake: In the scene early in the movie where Kurt Russell and Star Lord's mother walk in the woods behind the Dairy Queen, she has on boots with fur tops as they walk down the hill, and has sandals on while standing in the clearing near the god plant.

Plot hole: When Baby Groot finds and brings items thinking they are what Yondu wants, he brings a desk that screeches when he drags it. There is no way he could have dragged it any great distance without alerting anyone, including the guards (seen later) posted nearby. Or if he were closer, Yondu or Rocket would have stopped him. Or even put it back (it's not seen again).

Trivia: David Bowie was intended to have a cameo in the film, but tragically passed away before a deal could be reached.

Suggested correction: Bowie wasn't meant to shoot a cameo. He was on a wishlist that director James Gunn had. Nothing was confirmed or agreed to. Your comment insinuates the cameo was agreed to and was going to happen, but he died before it came down to the actual shoot. That was not the case.

Trivia: During the end credits, "I am Groot" appears throughout. The phrase will then shift to revel the "translation", usually someone's name.

Trivia: Vin Diesel was given a special "Groot" version of the script that contained "translations" of what Groot was actually saying whenever he utters his one and only repeated sentence "I am Groot." This was done to help him deliver his dialog appropriately, since he would know exactly what point Groot was trying to get across with each line. Reportedly, only Diesel was given this version of the script - in everyone else's script, Groot's dialog is merely "I am Groot" over and over again.

Groot: I am Groot.
Rocket: On anyone, not just himself.
Groot: I am Groot.
Rocket: One minute you think someone has a weird-shaped head, the next minute it's just because you realise part of that head is the hat. [To Groot] That's why you don't like hats?

Rocket: Quill, later tonight you're going to be lying down in your bed, there's going to be something squishy in your pillowcase and you're gonna be like "what's this?" and it's gonna be because I put a turd in there!
Peter Quill: You put your turd in my bed, I shave you.
Rocket: Oh, it won't be my turd. It'll be Drax's.
Drax: [Laughs] I have famously huge turds.
Gamora: We're about to die and this is what we're discussing?
