First Blood - S1-E1

Factual error: While at the lodge of the safari camp, they find lion tracks. However, there are distinct nail imprints in the tracks. Lions have retractable claws and do not leave nail prints when walking.

Factual error: The station at the Arctic would have storage batteries to retain a charge for when storms obscure the solar panels, yet, once the bats cover the panels, they lose electricity.

First Blood - S1-E1

Other mistake: When he and Chloe encounter a group of lions scouring for food, what tips Oz off that something is wrong is the unusual sight of more than two males together. The more obvious indicator is that they are all male; in lion prides under normal circumstances, the hunting and gathering of food is done by the females.

Question: How was the mother cell discovered? Was it man made or natural?

Chosen answer: In the episode "Blame it on Leo", Leo Butler, who use to work for Reiden, tells the group about the "mother cell." He explains it's Reiden's molecule vector. So it's something Reiden created. In real life science, vector cells are used to introduce DNA sequences from one organism to another. There are a variety of ways for this to occur, however, in the show not much explanation is given about how Reiden's mother cell works (and tends to bend how it works to the will of the plot).
