Revealing mistake: After Lucifer kills Gabriel, we get close-ups of Lucifer where the outline of his contact lenses are visible.
The Prophecy (1995)
Directed by: Gregory Widen
Starring: Christopher Walken, Viggo Mortensen, Elias Koteas, Eric Stoltz, Virginia Madsen
Plot hole: In one scene Eric Stoltz throws an angel out a window. This angel then lands on the roof of a parked car, bounces off as another car runs into him, smashing him against a stainless wall. Now, this is a blind street, a dead end, so why would anyone race like this?
Continuity mistake: In the church scene when Simon takes Hawthorne's soul, the flag draped over the casket changes from shot to shot. (00:15:08)
Gabriel: Lucifer, sitting in your basement. Sulking after your breakup with The Boss. You're nothing. (01:28:46)
Gabriel: Nice move. Beautifully done. Tommy, you ought to come work for me upstairs. I could get you in now. You'll love it. No one tells you when to go to bed. You eat all the ice cream you want. You get to kill all day all night, just like an Angel! (01:24:43)
Lucifer: Heaven will become just another Hell. And two Hells is one Hell too many. I can't have that.
