Trivia: When Tweety is lighting the fuse on the rocket, there is a crate behind him with a label saying "Friz" on the side of it - a reference to the director Friz Freleng.

Trivia: During the tennis game, Sylvester swallows a stick of dynamite and then attempts to put it out by drinking from a water tank - only to blow himself into the tank. The same thing would later occur to Elmer Fudd in a 1953 Warner Brothers cartoon, "Ant Pasted."
