Trivia: During the tennis game, Sylvester swallows a stick of dynamite and then attempts to put it out by drinking from a water tank - only to blow himself into the tank. The same thing would later occur to Elmer Fudd in a 1953 Warner Brothers cartoon, "Ant Pasted."

Trivia: When Tweety is lighting the fuse on the rocket, there is a crate behind him with a label saying "Friz" on the side of it - a reference to the director Friz Freleng.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the cartoon there is a "Do Not Disturb" sign outside Tweety's house, but when Sylvester is bouncing on the trampoline to get into the birdhouse, the sign has disappeared.
