Planet of the Apes 2001 is an action/adventure/drama/Sci-Fi film by Tim Burton that takes the 70s stories sort of up to present day; the apes are evolved enough to speak and ride horses, humans are cowed and a bit more primitive, a scientist comes to "save" them, etc. BUT some expectations are subverted. A better-than-average take on the whole monkey business, great SFX and armor for its time, and even a bit of a love story (gasp!). There "should" have been a sequel to the film, but then again, maybe not. OK for its time.

Trivia: In order to star in the film, Tim Roth had to decline the role of Professor Severus Snape in "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" (2001). That role was eventually given to Alan Rickman.
Question: To prevent spoilers/plot leaking to the public, Tim Burton made five endings to keep people guessing. Is there anywhere I can see any of the other four?
Answer: You might be mistaken, there was only ever one ending shot for this film: the ending we all saw at the Lincoln Memorial. There were different planned endings (one was a similar ending to the theatrical but set at Yankee stadium with apes playing baseball) that were each rejected for various reasons. The ending we see is the one that is in the script.
Answer: There were five different endings to the movie and late actor Michael Clarke Duncan saw them all. So far, no website seems to have all five endings. Just the one we're familiar with.
