Audio problem: After The Mask gives his "Oscar winning speech" and Dorian sticks a gun in his face, "You're not going anywhere" can be heard. No one says this and was poorly recorded.

Suggested correction: If you look closely you can see Dorian is actually moving his mouth when the line is said, and he appears to be saying it through somewhat clenched teeth.

Visible crew/equipment: After a masked Carrey leaves Landfill Park, an aerial camera and person swings back and forth near the top of the screen in the background during the conga line dance.

Suggested correction: Those aren't camera people, they are supposed to be tactical police officers on a rope line who get involved with the singing/dancing by swinging and doing some aerial flips. We'll ignore that the ropes just go up into the sky, but that is the kind of comedic movie this is.

Audio problem: In the scene where Milo jumps at the cell window to save Ipkiss, Stanley says "good boy," but his mouth doesn't move. (01:13:00)

Suggested correction: Ipkiss says "good boy" several times in this scene, and every time his mouth is moving.

Revealing mistake: Dorian and his men are watching what we're assuming is a live feed from Tina at the bank. At one point the "video" stops as you can see a guard freeze. From that point on the video is a still picture.

Suggested correction: If you look at the top of the screen showing the bank video, you can see a multicolored distortion. This shows that they paused the video feed.

We don't see them pause the video.

We also don't see their hands, so one of them easily could have paused it.

Revealing mistake: When Kellaway shows up at Stanley's apartment to question him about his pajamas and Stanley scrambles to stuff all the stolen bank money into his closet, you can see that a few of the bills are blank on the back side, revealing that the money is a fake movie prop.

Trivia: When Stanley, as the Mask, is emptying his pockets for the goons, he pulls out a condom, and says "Sorry, wrong pocket" - this was improvised on the spot by Jim Carrey for the scene.

Question: Why would he have to steal the money from the bank? Given everything else he makes.

Answer: Nothing he makes while The Mask is permanent, and when separated from him reverts or disappears, as we see with the piece of pajama. If he made money, for example to get into the club, then immediately after giving it to the people and walking inside, it would vanish, probably causing him then to be thrown out. As Phaneron said, in addition, by robbing the bank to get it, he also strikes back at one of those he feels mistreats him.

Answer: While under the influence of the mask, Stanley repeatedly gets revenge on people that have wronged him. The Mask wouldn't even need to create money out of thin air to get into the club since he could just use his powers to get in, so since he feels that he is mistreated at the bank, he robs it.
