Deliberate mistake: After being arrested, Breaker, who is Northern African, a region where French is the second if not first native language and speaks with a French accent throughout the movie, pleads with the French authorities in English. (01:10:30)

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009)
1 deliberate mistake - chronological order
Directed by: Stephen Sommers
Starring: Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Marlon Wayans, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ray Park
Factual error: During the chase in Paris, the bad guy's car is nicked by the metro train. Instead of lunging forward (in the train's direction - and left in the car's direction) the car jumps 20 meters into the air. Even though the train has a tilting front end, the impact would never create a force in that direction. (01:00:30)
Breaker: Thousands of miles across and ten stories thick, locating McCullen's base will be like finding a needle in a coal mine.
Ripcord: Haystack.
Breaker: Oh, right. Haystack in a coal mine.
Trivia: In the scene where Ripcord and Duke are in the transport and Ripcord pats Heavy Duty on the back and gets his arm twisted as a result, Ripcord makes a crack about Heavy Duty having a "Kung Fu Grip". This refers to some of the earliest G.I. Joe's action figures who were advertised to have the Kung Fu Grip.
Question: Why would Rex, a US soldier who fought to protect his country, turn traitor and decide to become a man who wanted world domination?

Answer: He was left for dead by his own comrades, badly injured by an airstrike that they called down on his location. He would likely say that his country turned against him, not that he turned on them.
