The Living Daylights

Other mistake: When James is on the top of the jeep, there is a brief shot of it from behind as they go past an armed soldier. Watch carefully, the jeep goes over a few bumps and Bond on top seems to jump all over the place in a very unnatural way. This is because the footage has been sped up to make the Jeep appear to be going faster.

Other mistake: When Bond returns the cello to Kara, she asked who he is and Bond replied he watched Kara perform yesterday in the conservatoire. But Miss Moneypenny told Bond that Kara injured her arm last week during intermission. So it would not be possible for Bond to watch Kara yesterday. (00:40:28)

Other mistake: On the frozen lake, Kara screams, "James!" but Bond never gave his name to Kara, so she could not have known his name.

Suggested correction: Bond could have easily told Kara his name anytime before this scene.

Other mistake: When the tyre gets blown off the wheel rim during the chase we see no mechanical workings for the spikes that appear in the next shot before Bond drives off, we see only a tyre coming off, and we assume for maximum grip that all wheels would be fitted with spikes.

Continuity mistake: When Bond has his final confrontation with Whitaker, he empties his PPK at him in an attempt to take him down. In the process, he hits the gunshield on Whitaker's weapon five times and it remains clean. But when Whitaker rounds the corner a few seconds later, the impacts from the PPK bullets are suddenly visible on the shield's surface.
