Pollyanna

Question: What's the name of the Music or Song playing at the beginning of the "Bazaar" when everyone is riding bicycles down the road?

Answer: Is that when they were playing, "Listen to the spinning wheel?"

I meant to say the song, "Listen To The Mockingbird Bird." (But I'm not sure that's exactly where they played it, but the band did play that one. It's a very old song, around Civil War times.

Question: If Pollyanna were paralyzed and survived that fall, would a doctor loft her out of the bed? Carry her to the train? Wouldn't that be harmful?

Answer: Yes, it would have been dangerous. Even though not as much was known about spinal cord injuries in that time period, it's unlikely a patient would have been moved that way. However, this appears to be more of an artistic license for the purpose of the movie plotting. It avoids Pollyanna awkwardly being moved on a stretcher, loading her onto the train, how she is interacting with the townsfolk, etc. It just made for a smoother, quicker and more intimate movie ending.

Continuity mistake: When Pollyanna and Nancy deliver the calf's foot jelly to Mr. Neely, Pollyanna has one jar left in her basket and Nancy has two jars in her basket. Next shot, after the two leave Miss Ferd's, Pollyanna now has three jars in her basket, and Nancy has three as well. (01:02:30)
