Factual error: In the intro sequence of the movie where they show old clippings and all, the animation part depicting the sep,11 incident seems to be wrong. A plane is shown moving towards the south tower while the north tower stands clear of smoke. In the actual incident, the north tower took the first hit. The north tower in the animation can be identified by the antenna. (00:03:10)

Revealing mistake: By the end of the movie, when Jamie Foxx is holding the dying Arabian cop, you can see that Jamie's neck injury looks extremely false.
Adam Leavitt: Sir, not to beat a dead horse, but if there was ever a time for us to put boots on Saudi sand, I mean, don't you think this is it?
Janet Mayes: There's no way, Adam. They will never allow it.
Adam Leavitt: Then let's just ask.
Janet Mayes: The Saudi Royal Family cannot appear as if they're losing control. If they lose control of their country, lose control of the people, they risk losing control of the oil. And that's not going to happen.
Trivia: Throughout the movie, they refer to the terrorist bomb-maker by the name of Abu Hamza. Although this movie is a work of fiction, there is a convicted Muslim Imam preacher in the UK called Abu Hamza, who is being sought by the USA for extradition on terrorist charges, for bombing people in Jordan.
