Highlander II: The Quickening

Plot hole: The famous line "There can be only one" is uttered in every Highlander film. At the end of the original, Connor obtained the prize by killing the Kurgan and being the last one. However, in this film and others, you find out that there are still others around, such as Duncan, the woman who was Duncan's girlfriend in Endgame, the other immortals following Jacob in Endgame, and the ones that showed up in The Source. So, why did Connor obtain the prize? He still wasn't the last one.

Revealing mistake: At the beginning, when all the guys are running away from the explosions in the war, you see a guy getting thrown into the air, but the black kickplate that propels him into the air is clearly visible.

Trivia: The original script had a cameo from "The Kurgan", the villain of the original. It was going to be revealed that Kitana had paid him off to go to Earth and kill MacLeod. Kurgan's death would be part of what eventually motivated Kitana to send his other goons after MacLeod.
