Corrected entry: After the principal of the school has told the crowd and basketball team in the gymnasium that they will have to leave the room due to safety regulations (this is before Breaking Free), as the team pace out of the room, in the bottom right corner, you can very obviously see a camera man follow them out of the room before the shot changes to Ms. Darbus.

Correction: That is a camera crew filming the game; we have a crew film our school's football games and put them on public access cable channels.

Corrected entry: As people file out of Ms. Darbus's class the day after winter break, the kid with the yellow undershirt and the blue jacket comes out of the classroom twice: once when he says to Troy "She's crazy." and another time when the camera switches back to Gabriella as she's explaining her mom's transfer.

Correction: It's likely that he had gone back into the classroom to collect forgotten books for next period.

Corrected entry: When Troy is playing basketball at practice during the song Get'cha Head in the Game, his jersey says 14 with his name, Bolton on the back. Later, at the next practice, his jersey number is 10. And at last, at the game at the end, his number is back to 14.

Correction: Having experience in basketball, I know that Troy could have easily had 2 jerseys.

Continuity mistake: When Troy is in the locker room with his teammates, Chad is handed the framed photo of Troy's father and there's a white sticker on the back of the frame. In the next shot, when Chad gives the frame to Troy, the sticker is gone. (00:58:50)

Ms. Darbus: That'll be 15 minutes for you as well, Mr. Danforth. Count 'em!
Taylor: That might be difficult for Chad, since he probably can't count that high.

Question: Chad tries to discourage Troy from singing with the line, "If you sing in musicals, you're going to end up in my mom's refrigerator." Any clue as to what this means?

Answer: When Chad brings up Michael Crawford (the iconic Phantom in musical performances of Phantom of the Opera) he points out that Crawford's picture has never been on cereal (Wheaties) boxes like popular athletes. Chad says that his mom saw Phantom of the Opera on Broadway 27 times, and she put Crawford's picture "in" her refrigerator. So then Chad tells Troy that if he plays basketball his picture will end up on a cereal box, but if he sings in musicals his picture will only end up in his mom's (or anyone's) refrigerator. Apparently since Chad's mom was nuts about Michael Crawford, one of her "crazy diet ideas" was to put Crawford's picture in the fridge to help her stick to her diet.
