It is revealed that Dante and Becky (Rosario Dawson) had sex one night after they closed the restaurant and Becky became pregnant as a result. At Randal's farewell and donkey show party, Emma walks in on Dante and Becky kissing and as a result throws the cake that she made onto Dante and storms out of the building just as the cops arrive (Dante called the cops and fire department when he thought the restaurant was on fire but it turned out to be just fog from fog machines for Randal's party). Dante, Randal, Elias (Trevor Fehrman), Jay, Silent Bob, and the "interspecies erotica" performer are all taken to jail for having the illegal donkey show. At the jail, Randal confesses his insecurities to Dante and suggests that the duo buy the Quick Stop and RST Video stores for themselves. Jay and Silent Bob lend them some money on the condition that they be allowed to loiter in front of the Quick Stop as they did years ago. Dante and Randal soon repair the Quick Stop & RST Video stores and hire Elias to work with them while a visibly pregnant Becky (now Dante's fiance) looks on.
