Trivia: Sex Machine's 'crotch gun' is used in Desperado, which also stars Quentin Tarantino and Danny Trejo (the barkeeper).

Trivia: During the whole movie Scott wears a T- Shirt with a "Precinct 13"- print on it. This is a reference to John Carpenter's movie "Assault on precinct 13". The story of this movie is in some aspects quite similar to that of "From Dusk Till Dawn": A small group of people is closed together in a building and has to defend it against a majority of enemies waiting on the outside during one night.

Trivia: Sex Machine is threatened by a guy and he shows him his crotch gun. The guy who threatens him is Greg Nicotero a make up artist for this movie.

Trivia: Sex Machine is played by none other than splatter king Tom Savini. He's the special effects king known for his work on numerous horror films including Night Of The Living Dead and Creepshow.

Trivia: In the movie Curdled (1996) starring William Baldwin the Gecko brothers appear as fugitives in the crime TV show.

Trivia: When Seth goes into the motel lobby to get a room, we see a shot of Richie waiting in the car. If you look to the far left of the dashboard, you can see a reflection of Red Apple cigarettes, the brand of cigarettes used in all of Quentin Tarantino's movies.

Trivia: The Titty Twisters band are the same as in Road House. They were the band at the bar where Dalton worked at the very beginning.

Trivia: Seth Gecko's line, "No thanks, I already had a wife", was ad-libbed by George Clooney. Director Robert Rodriguez never planned it to be in the final cut, but after the studio included the line in a trailer, he changed his mind and left it in the film.

Trivia: Executive Producer Lawrence Bender has a cameo, sitting in a booth at Emma and Pete's Gravy Train Restaurant, where we first see Jacob, Kate and Scott.
